Weddingbee boards

I am looking for a referral for a dress designer/tailor.  I have a wedding gown in mind--very simple; no lace; no beading; and simple satin fabric.  I would like to meet with a few designers and checkout their pricing before committing.  Does anyone have a referral?  Also, if the "gown" is a shirt and skirt (short) and simple as stated, what kind of range am I looking at for pricing, if I use a designer?  Just looking for some practical advice.  Thanks in advance.

PS--I live in Cambridge and am willing to travel to a good, reasonably priced designer.
