So, 2 weeks ago I tried on a Justin Alexander gown at a bridal shop that I loved. It was exactly what I liked and I felt amazing in it. I did not buy it yet. Well... to make a long story short, my mother convinced me to go to this "Rush for the Dress" sale today. We drove 3 1/2 hours to get there and I found an Alfred Sung Signature dress and bought it.

I am just not sure I did the right thing. I'm still stuck on the fact that I love the Justin Alexander, but I do really like the one I bought today as well. I'm worried that I might have been pressured into buying it. My mom really liked it, it was only $299 (marked down from $1749.) and it was a 4-hr ONLY sale that the proceeds went to charity.

So, I'm thinking I want to call the bridal shop where I found the Justin Alexander and see if they will let me bring in my dress and try the 2 of them on together. But I dont know if thats a good idea.

    I'm so confused.

    Here's the Justin Alexander:

Dress... Did I do the right thing? : wedding 8456 JAR Fa A 1

And the Alfred Sung (the one I bought):

Dress... Did I do the right thing? : wedding 6775Flrg

Oh I love the one that you bought! It is so beautiful and original! What colour did you buy it in?

$299 for a wedding dress isn't much money at all.  If you aren't sure, go and try the other one on!  If you do end up buying a second dress, it isn't as if you are already thousands of dollars in the hole for the first one AND you can sell it on ebay and get back what you paid for it since it was such a steal!

How much is the Justin Alexander? I would try them on together if u like the Justin alexander more and you can afford to, do it dont want to regret it later, I like therm both, personally I prefer the Justin alexander but the colour may be influencing that,

I think the only way you will be able to decide either way is to do what you said and try them both on together!

On the models I prefer the first one; however, on you I could change my mind!

Both dresses are beautiful but they have a different feel.  The first one looks more modern, while the second one looks more vintage.  Is there a feel your going for? I would go try on the first again just to compare, but don't take your second dress.

They both are beautiful with completely different feels. I guess it depends what kind of look you're going for. If it was me, I'd go try on the 1st dress just to be sure.

LOVE the one you bought! It's beautiful! And it has a similar shape to the one you LOVE. I honestly don't love the halter top on the Justin Alexander as much as just the sweetheart neckline.

    The Justin Alexander is $1250ish.

We are doing a sort-of Old Hollywood/Rockabilly feel. I can't decide on an era, so we're just mixing it up a bit. I feel like they would both fit in with that.

i think you should stick with what you bought. you got a great deal, and 300 bucks wasted is still 300 bucks! the dress is gorgeous, you shouldn't doubt yourself :)

They both have similar silhouettes... how do you feel about it? I think you should try them on and take pictures of yourself. It's impossible to tell on models how you feel in a dress.

Both dresses are beautiful! And 299 is such a great deal! But I think you should definitely try them on together and see which one you feel better in/look better in and make the decision that way. If you do end up liking the Justin Alexander better, then definitely go for it and try selling the other one on ebay or something.

You got a freakin' steal. I'd stick with the first one!

Although, I'm a strap kinda girl, so I really like the neckline of the first. But the second is near identical in silouette.
