I would totally go for the caramel color. Is it possible the second dress comes in a light gold/mocha/dark ivory?  If not, I would go with the first one hands down – the color will be stunning. (But it’s a leap of faith, I realize!) Good luck!!!

They are both beautiful. But the first is really something else, I second that the color will look stunning on you! I also like the silouette a lot more.

Boy have you got good taste!  They are both exceptionally beautiful.  Pick the one that most flatters your figure. Can you post a picof you in each one?

mandz4u:  They are both beautiful dresses but the first is my preference.  If you are nervous about the lack of sleeves, you could always see able having a bolero or shrug made.

I obviously do not know anything about you other than what you have told us about yourself. However, my thoughts are that anyone who is feeling obsessed about that first, gorgeous dress in caramel is not going to be happy with a beautiful white dress, no matter how sparkly it is or whether or not the first dress has sleeves.

There is something inherently dramatic about a dress that has lace against a darker, neutral background. That type of contrast can’t be replicated with tone on tone in a lighter color. If that’s the look you truly love (and it is quite beautiful), then go for it! I always tell brides who can’t decide between two dresses to choose the one that you KNOW you will REGRET NOT choosing.

The Mori Lee is absolutely stunning! I am sure you can have sleeves or a bolero added.

mandz4u:  both dresses are gorgeous! It would be great to see pics of you in both to give you a better recommendation 🙂

I am so in love with the first dress, there’s no question if it were me!

After seeing you in both gowns, it makes it harder. I love the silhouette of the Mori Lee on you, it looks great on your body, but I’m actually not a fan of the colour on you.

I know it’s called caramel but it has pink/peach tones to me and I think those look better on people with ultra pale skin who need the colour of the gown to stop them from looking like ghosts LOL. You have gorgeous olive skin so you don’t need anything to boost it!

Maybe you could try it in white or ivory?

Other than that, Allure and David Tutera/Mon Cheri both have similar dresses to the Mori Lee available in colours. I think you should try some of those on to see how the different shades work for you. There are so many different variations on what they call champagne, blush, gold etc that you really can’t know until you try them on.
