Soooo I bought my dress several months ago and my wedding is still 5 months away. Now I don’t think I really like my dress and sort of bought it on impulse, my mother would absolutly kill me if I bought another dress but you only get married once so I really want to have the perfect dress.
I paid $450 for this dress and can’t return it – so would need to sell it to cover the cost. I really liked it when I bought it but now I think it looks kind of cheap and not detailed.
I found several dresses on semi-sketchy websites and want to order one but am nervous. Anyone have experience with http://www.weddingdressebay.com or ordering dresses from China? or should I stick with my original?
PS – my fiance hasn’t seen the dress but he really likes beading and this dress doesnt have any…

It’s a wonderful dress! But if you are not happy, I’d sell it and buy another! Good Luck!

If you aren’t happy with it, I’d sell it. Personally, I think there is a lot going on, but I also never liked the feathery/ruffle look.
Make sure you feel like a million bucks in the dress, that’s all that matters!

I said sell only because if you’re not completely happy with it you need to sell it and find THE dress. You look gorgeous in it By The Way if you decide to keep it! Just go with your gut 🙂

I don’t think it looks cheap at all, but what matters is what you think! If you aren’t happy, sell it and start over.

So, I love ruffles, and I think that your dress is drop dead gorgeous. I swear, if I had seen that for under $1000, I would have bought it, and then prayed I could sweat myself down to as tiny as you are.
My feeling is that if your Fiance loves sparkle, get a really sparkly belt and maybe even a veil with rhinestones scattered on it. Your figure looks beautiful in this dress, too. 🙂
But, if you just can’t see yourself wearing this dress, then do what makes you happy. I’m still waiting for a dress I ordered on eBay to come in. . .stressful. But I can’t attest to the quality since I’ve only seen pictures. I do have a new “backup dress” obsession with http://www.simplybridal.com, and I’ve already picked out the dress that I’ll buy if the first one bombs. They have dresses for under $200, and their designers are based in the US, so that’s a bonus. Maybe they have something with sparkles that you’d be more comfortable in?
Either way, do what feels right. You look GREAT in the dress, but I’m sure you’d look great in anything. Good luck!
