@cluelessB: Well I can see why it's a tough choice. You look amazing in both of them!
I say, go with what feels right. Since they are both the same in price, ask yourself in which you feel more beautiful in. What is easier to move around in? What makes more sense for the weather (like if one is heavier, it might make you hot etc).
Good luck, and whichever you choose you will look beautiful! :)
Personally, I think the Kathy Ireland dress is soooooooo much more beautiful and classic. The bodice is gorgeous, the lace is gorgeous, YOU look gorgeous!! Dress #1 isn't as flattering. The lace feels heavy and overdone to me. Dress #2 is simply perfect! It's definitely NOT blah at all!
Oh man, this is TOUGH. They both look so good on you. But in my opinion, the first gives you a more modern sexy look, the second is very pretty but safe.
Aww thanks ladies you are amazing, and sooooo fast to respond!!!
Mimoza in all honesty they are both pretty restrictive, this partly being because i need to lose a bit to fit them properly! But i appreciate your thoughts, i felt like a giggly princess in the Kathy Ireland one, and then in Tolli's i was just shell shocked that i liked and looked ok in a dress so fluffy and sparkly - not what i thought i would go for at all! My mum said in one i look womanly, in the other girly - which is a compliment i am not sure of... :/ x
Christy42213 Thank you, it is a divine dres, in the flesh it is soooo beautiful, the colour is gorgeous and the detailing looks twice the price. I love this forum, you girls are amazing!
KateByDesign You are spot on with what i was worried about!! I agree, i worry the second dress is pretty but safe, exactly what my mum said... And yes the Tolli dress is a lot more 'sexy' because it shows off a lot of curves - shame i have more curves on my ass and hips than boobs, but beggars cant be choosers! Thank you for your help x
I prefer dress #2 on you because it accentuates your waist more than dress #1. Also, I'm not a fan of asymetrical styles (personal preference).
But, both dresses are beautiful and you look lovely in them. There is not wrong answer here. Good luck!!
The first one! The dropped waist looks great on you. The Kathy Ireland is pretty, but definitely not as pretty on you as the first one!
You do look great in both, but I personally love the Tolli. I think it shows off your curves. Also which dress made you feel a bride. I had a similar dilemma, I had three dresses that I loved. I narrowed it down to two because it had the feel and fit the theme I was looking for. From those two one of them made me truely feel like a bride. Thats the dress I went with and I never regretted my decision.
I love the tolli dress!! It makes your figure look great!!! I am also thinking about buying too!!! What color was the sample you tried on? I know it comes in ivory, diamond white and white.
I voted for the Ireland (but it really can go either way)
Tolli: this dress is stunning, and the asymmetrical beaded embroidery lends a unique twists to the lace + tulle combination; I prefer drop waists over a-lines for the most part, but this one fists awkwardly around your hips/bum (it actually makes your bum look pointy/sharp in the second photo)*
Ireland: this dress has a lot less sex appeal since it's not fitted (it's more "sweet, lovely bride"), but it's no less beautiful than the Tolli; the natural waistline makes your waist look tiny and complements your figure very well; also, that bustline is just marvelous
*BUT the reason why I said it can go either way is that the corset doesn't seem to be laced up all of the way with the Tolli, so the fit will probably be much smoother once you get the dress in your size
You look great in both dresses!
As for my pick I love the Sophia Tollia ( I may be biased that I'm wearing one of her dresses as well).
The Kathy Ireland dress is nice too but I think the Sophia is just more wow! I am not a fan of the detailing on the skirt on the Kathy.

Hello Bees! I have just joined this forum after reading may helpful posts and thinking 'right, now i need some help!'
So, i am torn between two beautiful dresses. One is Sophia Tolli's Jillian, the other is by Kathy Ireland.
Our wedding will be in the countryside, if this has any influence on your decisions. And it will be a civil ceremony, so no church.
I am worried i look a bit too over the top in the Sophia Tolli dress, but then think the Kathy Ireland dress is just a bit 'blah' in comparison - but i still love them both. And with their price tags being at my limit, i need to be certain!!
Thanks beautiful bees!!
Here's the Sohpia Tolli dress (note the flower belt is our customisation, not part of the original dress):
