do you have a pic of you in the dress? is there anything specific you’re unsure about?

dress doubt is NORMAL. it’s a big, expensive purchase that sets the tone for your entire wedding and that you’ve dreamed about since you were a little girl. that’s a lot of pressure! try to remember how you felt in the dress and why you loved it. in the meantime, stop looking at other dresses!

@Sweet Iced Tea: Do you have a picture of the dress? Do you think this regret is stemming from the fact that you didn’t go more places for the experience, or that you really don’t like the actual dress anymore?

I would also like to see a picture of you in it. Dress doubts are totally normal. I sure was having them, and then I went to a fitting and had someone take a couple of pictures of me, and then I posted them on the bee, and the bees were awesome and reaffirmed why I purchased the gown in the first place. I also only tried on 5 gowns and only went to one salon. I think the gown I chose was the second dress I tried on. Please try to post a picture. I am sure you made the right decision 🙂

I think you are very beautiful in it and I can see why you fell in love with it. It does look like a gown that can be incorporated into a “fun/whimsical theme”. I think that once you start putting things together for your wedding you will probably feel more comfortable with your decision 🙂

@Sweet Iced Tea: First off, I think it is gorgeous!  I think it would go with your theme just fine. Because in all honestly as far as themes go your dress doesn’t always have to fit perfectly. If you love it, it’s beautiful, and it fits you to a T, then how can you go wrong??? :o)

ETA: you might also find inspiration from your dress for your decor!

omg i LOVE this dress on you! it’s definitely fun and whimsical because of the ruffle down the side, and it doesn’t look shiny at all. it’s gorgeous on you!!!

eta: to make it more casual, you can have a lot of fun with your jewelry! throw in a statement necklace and a big bracelet.

Your dress is gorgeous.  I think it will be perfect for a semi-casual, fun/whimsical wedding.  I only tried on maybe 4-5 gowns and got one from the first place I went to.  Sometimes you just know when you’ve found your dress!

You look phenomenal – I think it is unique and somewhat whimiscal to begin with…not really THAT traditional. The side ruffles going to the bottom and the detail at the waist make it fun. If I were you I would leave all doubts behind and feel confident in your choice. It’s beautiful!

Ok seriously… you look gorgeous!  I couldn’t imagine another dress on you right now.  You look look so beautiful in that one!

Btw, I think that ruffle on the side makes the dress more whimsical, flirty and fun!  If it didn’t have that side ruffle, that dress would look elegant and formal (which it does now as well).  The ruffle addes the unique factor and fun.  And like some of the PP’s said you can really play up the ruffle in your dress and add fun/flirty hair accessories, maybe colored/brighter jewerly, ect.
