Picture isn’t working. I would never order a dress without trying it on. Dresses can look very different on different people so I would be hesitant.

@absolutely_tati:  It’s very pretty. What company makes it? Is it made by someone where you can go and try on similar styles?

I don’t want a white dress either and I think the dress you like is lovely. You should go to some bridal shops anyway and try on dresses with a similar silhouette– even though your dress isn’t white and looks like it has an illusion neckline, it’s still a pretty common shape. You should be able to get a feel for if that style looks good on you before you order it.

If there’s no way you can try on the exact dress, I strongly advise going to try on a gown of a similar shape and color to make sure it looks as good on you as you’re imagining. If you know for sure that that’s the shape you want, go for it!

go to bridal salons and show them the pic. Tell them you want that exact sillouette. It looks like a shape salons should carry. Will give you a sense of the dress. That said, that dress will be slightly different from what you try on and be prepared for alterations.

@absolutely_tati:  I’d go to the store, show them the dress, and have them put you in a similar silhouette. That was you can see if you like how it’ll potentially look on you? If you like it, order it, if not, keep looking.

@absolutely_tati:  The same thing happened to me. I feel in love with a dress that was no where near me.  I went on a whim and ordered it.  I looked online for pictures of real brides in it first though and tried on similiar styles.

I get it in a month or so and I can`t wait to see it!

Wow that is gorgeous!! I would suggest you go to a bridal salon and find a dress with the same silhouette and material, try it on and you will know how the dress will look on your body
