Hi! New to the bee!
Looking for a dress has not been an easy task. All I want is a sweetheart strapless ball gown with big tulle/organza puffy skirt. No beading, no lace. Sounds simple, right?? Can’t find it anywhere!! I just decided that maybe it was not ‘meant to be’ and said YES to MoriLee 1809 (with a hoop skirt underneath to make it more of a ball gown). I came home that night and saw a picture of Tara Keely 2161…. The exact dress I had been looking for! (Of course without the black bow). Now what do I do??? I put money down on MoriLee, but I feel if I never try on Tara Keely’s I will regret it!! dilemma!! MoriLee is about 600$ cheaper, which is also another reason I am hesitating on Tara Keely. Help!!

@PizzaLisa: Hmmm, those are both gorgeous dresses. Two anecdotes:
My BFF bought a dress, but kept looking for a long time. Finally found one she loved from another bride, tried it on, fell in love, bought it, and was thrilled. Hasn’t sold her other one yet.
When I bought my dress, I had had my eye on another one. I bought my dress because I liked it, it fit, was a gorgeous designer sample in my budget, had amazing material (no, I didn’t have ‘the one’ moment). Kept my eye on the other dress for a while. My BFF told me to try it on, either to rule it out or know that I had to have it. I waited a little while, sorta forgot about it, and I just got my actual dress in and I’m thrilled with it.
I’d say give it time. I don’t know what kind of money you have tied up in the other dress, but can you give it a week or two? If you won’t loose much, maybe go try the Tara on. If you’ve paid in full, give it some time and see how you feel.
They’re both really gorgeous, so just remember that at the end of the day you’ll marry your best friend in a stunning gown 🙂
