You can wear whatever color you want!  I did wear white because it was blazing hot outside and our party was outdoors.  But there is no rule of color for the engagement party…or any other party/shower/wedding for that matter.  I say wear what you like and what looks great on you!

We had a vrey informal Engagement Dinner (meeting of our immediate families) at Spaghetti Warehouse, so I wore jeans with a cute vest, turtleneck, and boots. It was in February.

Wear whatever you like.

I actually just got back from shopping!  Like @stephinPA it will be blazin hot, humid, and outdoors so I got a white strapless sundress but am wearing pink heels and jewelry to add color.  I don’t think there are rules though 🙂

I wore a summer dress and tan/nude summer heels.   We had a catered bbq at my FIL’s house and rented a margarita machine.  Someone mentioned wearing white to me but this is a celebration of your engagement so there are no rules.  Just enjoy the party and wear something cute you feel comfortable in.
