Can I ask what size she wears? She might want to check out J. Crew, although I don't think they go past a 14. I'm very petite, so I usually have to order their petite sizing, but I love it. I've also found they run a little large, and have very flattering fits. For example, most places I wear a 4, but I can easily wear a J. Crew 2. Otherwise, I'd suggest Nordstrom, which has better extended sizing.
my mother is also full figured and very petite.. I didn't want her to wear something with a jacket, I wanted her to feel sexy and she ended up with this from Bloomingdale's http://www1.bloomingdales.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=448756&CategoryID=9030&PageID=9030*1*24*-1*-1*2
she wasn't so sure when we ordered it but after she tried it on .. she felt super sexy!

My FSMIL is short and full figured, she raves about Jones New York Petite Plus. I think it's carried at a lot of department stores. Hope that helps!
My mom is petite, full figured and very stylish (very professional looking) She Raves over Kay Unger clothes. The fit and the features of them are phenomenal.
She ended up buying a skirt/jacket silk suit (she wanted separates to mix later on) and they fit perfectly, but she does a lot of those styles.
I can so relate!!! I am in the wedding and I am 5' 3" and wear a 16w or 18 now.
I went to Carson Pirie Scott and found R&M has nice dresses. I was insistent on a jacket to cover the large arms, I just personally think it looks terrible not covered.

My mom is refusing to wear a dress or skirt even to my wedding. Now, normally I'd be ok with this because she's my mom and I want her to be happy. But my whole family is giving her grief about it so she's starting to rethink it. But, she doesn't like ANYTHING she tries on! She's barely 5'4'' and is full figured. She is so beautiful, and it's important for me to have her feel beautiful on my wedding day. She is also very stylish!! She does not wear frumpy clothes, and does not like the usually full figured MOB dress. Help!!!! If anyone has had this same problem or is just great with this kind of thing please help me.
