Have you picked out what your bridesmaids are wearing already? Do you have a designer or colour in mind? I think most designers have a maternity section you could take a look at.
Empire waists, wide shoulder straps/sleeves, and plenty of bust room. Those are the hallmarks of a good maternity dress. Order the bust 4" larger than her normal size, that should give you the right "starting size" for any alterations. Most bridesmaid lines have several versions of an empire waist to choose from, so you could let her decide which one she likes. (As an 8 month pregger Bee, I'd recommend something that's covers the tatas. Mine are huge, and my bra is pretty much full coverage, so low cut stuff is a no go for me.)
I was just on the Jenny Yoo website yesterday and they have a special line of maternity bridesmaid dresses.
I decided to do the same, ie let them pick their dresses with guide lines and my okay. So she could probably find one in the maternity section that would work.
You should view Alfred Angelo site. There are some maternity bridesmaid dresses posted. Maybe you can find one to suit the color you are going with.

This will be ours. My MOH tried it on when she was about 7 months pregnant and it looked great!! Its from Davids Bridal. They make the same kind of dress thats strapless as well.

Lovely Bees - I am in a bit of a dilemma and need your advice. One of my bridesmaids is going to be almost 8 months pregnant at my wedding and I need to find a dress for her that matches the dresses of my other bridesmaids. While the dresses do not necessarily have to be exactly the same, I'd like them to be the same color. In fact, I like the idea of same color but different styles for each of my bridesmaids. Any suggestions?!?!?!
