@mrswagner: I'm wearing it but I added to it to make it different. It was on sale for $499 & I couldn't pass it up
I just bought it tonight! The people at my DB said it's discontinued now because actually not a lot of people bought it, so I'm not worried about anyone saying they've seen it before. It's got classic lines but it's SO different with the texture on the skirt, and the beads inside the ruffles make it so twinkly. I am ridiculously excited to wear this dress.
I tried it on Jan 2011 and did not buy it. The sales woman told me it was not a popular dress so yo shouldn't worry about a lot of people having seen it on another bride.
Shameless self-promotion, I just posted pics of myself in the dress at the shop tonight:

I cannot waaaaait!
Oh my! The dress looks fabulous in pictures. I am wearing this dress too... in September. Someone mentioned the texture of the dress and I have to admit-- it wasn't what I thought I wanted but once I put it on, I felt amazing. I've been reading other posts of people having problems coming up with a proper bustle, so... what did you guys do? Anyways.. yes the dress looks amazing and I can't wait to wear it myself. I was lucky that I found mine on Ebay for $400 and after falling in love with it at the store for over $1000 I jumped on it! It came in perfect condition and now I just have to get it altered a smidge and I'll be good to go!
I had thought about adding a bit of 'something' to the front of the dress, like a ribbon that would wrap around back and tie in a flowing bow or something but I may just love it as is.
I too just bought this dress!!! NOT what I pictured at all. I thought I wanted simple and plain.. but I put this on and knew that this was THE ONE!!! Gorgeous and easy to move in... no alterations needed :)
Yes, whoever bustles this dress first MUST post pics! And a tutorial. And your seamstress's home phone number.
I was so anti-strapless when I first went in to try on dresses, it's the ONLY thing I still wonder about after picking this dress. How do you guys think it would look with delicate straps that match the waist beading?
Wow, what the heck with all the double posts tonight? Sorry...
I'm wearing this dress when I get married in August. I'm adding a corset back to mine and taking out some of the layering underneath to give it a more old hollywood (less poofy) look. I haven't seen it actually altered yet, but I'm really nervous! It's such a beautiful dress though!!

So I love my dress but just realized it's been in the market for quite some time. I'm just curious to see how many bees have worn or will wear this dress and what are the odds to have one my guest say "I've seen that dress before" which is not the end of the world :) Here's a pic in case you've seen it, feel free to leave a message too... really just want to see how popular the dress is! LOL
