I am strongly thinking of buying my wedding dress online. But, I am scared to be dissapointed or the dress to be way different then how they show it on the picture. Has anyone purchase their wedding dress online? I will really appreciate your help =)

@Forever_and_always: I bought my dress preowned online. I would try on dresses in stores and then look for the one you like on sites like preownedweddingdresses.com, recycledbride.com, oncewed.com and ebay.

I bought 3 gowns online. For each brand I already knew what my size was either because I owned that brand (like JCrew) or I went into the stores (like David’s Bridal). But then for Casablanca, I am a totally different size then the two other brands. Know your size then go look for one oneline.
If you want to buy a gown from a China dress maker, maybe look for advice on other threads. I generally wouldn’t go for a knock off dress.
SimplyBridal.com is supposed to be decent I hear. They have 30 day returns at least!

I have 2 dresses and I bought them both online. But I tried them on in salons first. In most cases you cant return it once you order it so its better to try it on first to be safe.

I second preownedweddingdresses, recycledbride, and oncewed! They have awesome stuff, especially if you’re a typical sample size or slightly smaller.
I’ve heard great things about simplybridal too. They actually have a real, B&M store, so you know they’re a legitimate company. The Chinese knockoffs can get tricky. Some people have great experiences, and some have disastrous ones. It may or may not be worth the risk.
No matter what you do, your best bet, if buying online, is to pay with a credit card through PayPal. If something happens, you can file a claim with your card company AND with PayPal to get your money back.
