Background: I am having two ceremonies, one civil ceremony in Germany and one church ceremony in New York. I have my tulle ballgown for the church ceremony, which at $1300 came in well under budget. Since I saved money on that one, I thought it might be fun to buy a tea length or shorter dresss for the civil ceremony. I adore this one: BHLDN Charm School, but ouch! It costs $2200, almost twice as much as my ball gown!
Does anyone have any ideas for short or tea length dresses that are similar in style or feel? Or any ideas at all for a short wedding dress? I prefer champagne and beige to ivory. Pure white makes me look dead. Thanks in advance!

This is my dress. It’s Justin Alexander 8465. Just over $1000
Also try Dolly Couture. They have a TON of tea length, super cute dresses and are well priced from what I’ve heard. David’s Bridal also has a few I know but I’m not as familiar with the styles.

@Glasgowbound: I think I saw your dress when I went dress shopping the first time. It is lovely!
I just found this one, and I love it. From BHLDN, again. It’s called Tea Rose. It’s a real possibility for me!
It’s a little on the short side, but I do have good legs.
