I’m new to the boards and just beginning my search for my wedding dress. My first appointment was at David’s Bridal. I tried on about three dresses and didn’t love any of them. The consultant was a bit pushy and practically made me leave after three dresses like that was enough for the day. Needless to say I haven’t gone back.
About a week after that I went to a small Alfred Angelo Bridal Salon. The consultant/owner was very nice and took his time with me. When I started looking at dresses in magazines I loved lace but as soon as I started trying on dresses I knew lace doesn’t look good on me, so I’ve learned I like organza and ruffles! Ruffles!
I liked these two very much but I don’t think I’m ready to commit just yet… should I go to another Bridal Salon and keep looking? I still have time.. I think! I don’t want to rush into things and end up with dress regret!
Alfred Angelo 2314 (The bottom looks flatter on me because they didn’t have the poofy thing at the store)
And Alfred Angelo 215 (a little Photoshop magic, my face looked super weird in the shot of this dress)
Please help!! 🙂

I think the first one is personally really pretty as a dress as well as on you
the second one is a pretty dress, but It hink it’s so flashy it takes away from you.
Since you are NOT in love with either I suggest poking around and seeing what else you can find to top these you can always come back.

I like the first one better. The fabric on the second one just makes it look less expensive.

I like the first one better. I also agree that if you aren’t ready to commit then keep looking. Now you know what style you like – so that is a plus!

You should set up a pole! I prefer the first one on you, but if you are not 100% in love and have plenty of time why not keep looking? I bought the third dress I tried on, the first time I went shopping! I knew as soon as I put it on, and no dress regret here 🙂 I’d say keep looking until you find The One. Welcome to the hive!

The first one looks great on you! If you didn’t feel like either one was THE dress, then keep looking, but I think you’re off to a great start and now you have a better idea of what you like and don’t like!

I tried on the first one and loved it, so I’m biased. You look amazing in both but I love 1 on you the most!

@PuntaCanaBride: Yeah the fabric on the second one has me second guessing it… and it’s actually $400 more expensive than the first!!
