These pics were from a few months back (November I think) and just wanted to some unbiased opinions on what you all thought. I was kind of “meh” on all of them…I’m thinking an A-Line lace would compliment me the best.
I’m 5’5 and the best way to describe my shape is curvy/athletic…but my upper body is small (36B) and hips are somewhat on the big side (size 10 street). I have lost 10 pounds since these pics were taken…I lost it mostly in the hips, yay! Input? Suggestions? I am not opposed to keep looking and I am planning on going to an Allure trunk show in two weeks…Thanks ladies!!

Well my favorite of the bunch is #1. It looks amazing on you. Im not into the the other ones, the way they transition fabrics isn’t really working for me. But it doesnt really sound like your into any of them, so I say keep looking.

Right off the bat I would say keep looking because you said you felt “meh” about all of them. NOT how you’re supposed to feel about your wedding dress, keep looking until you find something you love.
I would personally look for something without a dropped waist, I think that would be the most flattering.

The second one looks AMAZING on you. Seriously. But if you’re just “eh” on them, definitely keep looking!

The second one is amazeballs on you, but i’d keep looking since you’re not sure yet!

Thanks! It was hard to get a good feel for how I looked…I had my mom and cousin with me and they thought I looked good in all of them (bless their hearts lol). I felt the best in the 2nd dress but didn’t get “that feeling” in any of them…

I tried on the Chardonnay as well, and it is SO stunning! Pictures really don’t do it justice. I think it flatters you really well and is just so dreamy! The Chardonnay gets my vote, but if you’re unsure and don’t feel confident, keep looking!

@maiathebee2013: If you’re “meh” on ALL of them, I say keep looking. There’s no way you should feel even remotely less than thrilled with your wedding dress. I like the shape of #1 on you, though – shows off your fantastic curves! Not a huge fan of the fabric and layers, though.

The only like 1 and 2 on you! Not a fan of 3 or 4 (they look a bit overwhelming on your frame)
# 2 is my first choice followed by # 1

Keep looking until you find that special feeling- it will happen!!

I think #2 looks the best on you!

I think the shape of #2 looks great on you! But that dress is just ok. I don’t like how the top look completely different than the bottom. So I voted to keep looking, but I think you should try on some more with that shape.

I think you’re on the right track with #2, the ballgown shape seems to work best on you. But I agree with the others, you should keep looking until you find a dress that makes you feel more than just “meh.”

@maiathebee2013: i have a similar build and A-line worked for me. it hits at a good point on your waist and does not emphasize the curviness of your hips which could look a little wide in a fit and flare (on me – i’m talking about me) and perhaps make you look a little short. i’m 5’4″.
i think the A-line shape could work…

#1 is my favorite. I’m not feeling the rest. But keep looking if you are so undecided.
