@Sarie415:  Your dress looks beautiful on you! You shouldn’t second guess yourself!

When I found my dress, I didn’t cry or get emotional but I didn’t want to take it off! That was my indication that this is the one!

@Sarie415:  First of all, you look stunning in it…and deliriously happy!

I knew it was the one when I put it on and all I could picture was my wedding, my FI face when I walk down the aisle, it was like everything I had ‘visioned’ came in to sharp focus and I knew it would just ‘fit’ with what I wanted.

@Sarie415:  It’s a beautiful dress, and you look SO HAPPY in it – really quite radiant. I think that means it is your dress 🙂

Go try it on again once you have all your accessories!!

I think it’s normal to feel this way. I tried on my dress and absolutely fell in love with it immediately. It was the first one I tried on and nothing else compared to it at all so that is the one I went with. I have pictures of it on my computer and used to look at it all the time. But then I found that the more I looked at it, the less I liked it! Like anything, the more you stare at it and examine it, the more likely you are to find things ‘wrong’ with it, even though there is nothing wrong with it at all! So I quit looking at it and second guessing it. It has arrived at the store and I am going to try it on this weekend so we will see how I feel then, but I guess my advice to you is to stop looking at the dress and stop second guessing! You chose it for a reason! And remember that when your hair and makeup is all done and you have your accessories and everything it will look different too – it will look even better! So don’t worry and I say just stick with this dress. I think it’s gorgeous, by the way and you look very happy in it! A sign that it is the ONE. 🙂

@Sarie415:  I knew my dress was “the one” because (1) I wanted people to like it – I wanted people to hate my “runner up” dress, which is when I figured out I didn’t like it at all – (2) it made me smile – apparently I didn’t smile in any other dress, at least not my real smile – (3) when I learned no other store near me had a sample for me to try I got really sad because I wanted to show it to everyone who came dress shopping with me, and I wanted pictures in it to remember it by, and (4) it was the only dress I looked up more than once the day after I tried it on – all the others, I looked at once or twice and was like “meh, yeah, not me” but mine stuck with me.

So . . . maybe see if this dress “sticks” with you? I didn’t really have an “it’s the ONE” moment so much as a realization that, hey, I want to marry FI in this dress and I want to prance around in it as much as possible because it’s so very me. I have a touch of “maybe I shoulda got a ballgown” regret every once in a while, but it’s easily negated by thinking of my dress; plus, none of the ballgowns were as much fun for me, since they just weren’t crazy/quirky enough.

It is so beautiful!  There are so many gorgeous dresses out there that you are bound to be “attracted” to all sorts but stay confident in the one you choose!
