That's an amazing dress. It doesn't look like a grad dress at all. It's great you got it early. One less thing to worry about! And I agree, you should wait until later for alterations.
Wow! What a good idea to get a great dress at a low price! Looks very beautiful!
Yay...that is so exciting that it is in early!!! Post pics of you in the dress when you try it on!! Love it!
Congrats...I cant wait to see it on you...its beautiful. My dress came in too...it only took three months and they told me 8!
anvil chick - Wow! This is the first time I've seen another bride on this site who's getting her dress from the same designer as I am. They make beautiful dresses don't they?! Congrats!
I got the BE52. I just loved how it fit and how light it felt compared to the other dresses I had tried on. The bridal salon called last week and told me my dress was in, but I haven't been able to go over and try it on yet. :0( I can't wait til I can get to put it on again!
chianti.... very nice. that weight of the dress was one reason why i fell in love with it. other dresses were just way to hot and heavy for a summer wedding. i was dying in most of them after just putting it on and standing in the store lights for a couple minutes.
i have the dress! all that needs to be done to it is having the top taken in a little... which they said would cost me around $40... but i might get them to take the sides in a bit too as right now the lacing in the back does up really close together and i do not like that look so much. i think its cuter when you see a bit of the modesty piece in it and the lacing isnt super tight.
I'm doing something similar for my outdoor (second) reception... I went and tried on a bunch of Lazaro BRIDESMAID dresses. The price of these pretty dresses, without major trains (perfect for an outdoor wedding!) are 1/10 of the price of an actual Lazaro wedding gown. Almost all the dresses come in ivory or soft white!
I love brides that figure out there are other options out there than just actual wedding dresses that look just as good!
Thats definetly the cutest dress I've seen today, I LOVE the ties up the back, sexy and accessible!!
You'll look a million dollars!!!
What colour is it in?
the ella rose dresses are stunning on! very well done dresses... i was looking for a summer dress and theirs fit the bill as they are incredibly light weight i wont be worrying about sweating up a storm while in the gown.
suzi yuen: accessible! lol i love it, that just made my day. the tie up in back is my favorite part as it just sucks everything in! i am a curvy girl and everyone was stunned to see how tiny my waist actualy is once in that gown.
That's beautiful! How exciting for you to be able to see it so soon!

The bridal shop I ordered my dress from phoned while I was away on vacation last week and said that my dress was in. It's in a whole month early! WAHOO! I only had to wait 3 months instead of 4 to get it.
Tonight I am off with my maid of honour to pick it up. There will be no fitting tonight as its still 10 months til the wedding. Its been suggested I wait til March to start fittings and alterations... thus I can loose a little more weight, and wont be paying twice to get the alterations done.
The store I got it from was the second store I visited. I went there twice, once with a bridesmaid and we found a different dress actually that I liked. But went back with my mom, auntysocial, bridesmaid, and moh... they all voted against... out came more dresses for me to try on.
I actually got a grad dress, wahoo big price difference!, because I didnt want a train as our wedding location has lots of grass and dirt roads it will just get trashed, plus I am a major clutz and it will get ripped! I love it. The first time I tried the dress on it was actually the grad dress version in bright purple... everyone said no. I loved it though, but apparently only I'm able to picture things in different colours... like ivory. Off went the sales lady as I tried on other dresses, she found the wedding dress version in ivory and I tried that on... instant tears. Everyone agreed it was the dress.
Cant wait to have it in my hands.
