I feel so lost right now..
I purchased mori-lee 5106 a few months ago for my elopement in September. I picked the dress because I was in a total rush and I could get in ordered in on time. Now that there is in I just don’t know if it’s what I should wear. It needs alterations but I don’t think the changes will make me love the dress. Im starting to think I should cut my losses and try to sell the dress instead of sinking more money into the dress. I don’t know if I should just try to find another dress (something short/doesn’t even have to be white).

@letselopetoeurope53: I too felt the same way and had dress doubts and regrets at times. It’s very common bc there are just so many dresses out there to choose from. Once my dress was altered and I saw it with all my accessories and tried it again after my hair and make trial I fell in love all over again!
Is it possible for you to try it on with all your accessories and hair and make up to give you a better picture? Then if you don’t like it and you can afford it then look for something else!

Oh my gosh.. I am in a similar situation so my advice won’t be much help. Have you looked at preownedweddingdresses.com ? if you find a dress you love, you may be able to find it on there never worn and unaltereAnita lot of girls rush into buying and then sell their dress on there for a mucElmore affordable price… I work with a girl who is selling a Vera wang on there now Because she changed her mind before her wedding!

What do you ladies think?? Should I get alterations (mainly in the top and add some fullness to the bottom? or just scramble and try to get another dress. HELP!

Wow! I actually think your dress is totally stunning. What about adding a ribbon or belt? There are fit and flare slips you can get too, to add fullness at the bottom. What do you want done to the top?

Thanks for the replys! I went to the seamstress last week and I am going to get the top taken in. I think the main reason I was freaking out was that the top was way to big and I was constantly having to tug the dress up and I was so uncomfortable. I cant add any additional tool to the bottom because it will make the dress to short . Oh well I think I’m just gonna work with what I got. Debating on if I should buy a veil or not. hmmmm
