Hi ladies 🙂 So I went wedding dress shopping last weekend! And I am STILL debating. In short, I had a wonderful experience at the first salon we went to, we were the only ones in there for the most part as they aren’t normally open Sundays, but were preparing for a prom dress trunk show. The lady helping me was amazing, attentive, knew her stuff. I ended up really liking the 3rd dress I tried (tried maybe 7-8 overall). I went to David’s Bridal afterwards, and had a pretty horrible experience. After how great the first place was, it was packed in DB’s, I had to wait 20 min even though I made an appointment, and the lady helping me was running around like crazy trying to help both me and another bridal party of 5 pick bridesmaids dresses. They didn’t have anything I wanted (not very particular, just wanted some sparkle!) and I pretty much wanted to cry. Found one dress that was just okay.
So now I keep thinking about the dress from the first place! It was beautiful, and nothing at all like I had thought I wanted, haha! The lady there had me try it with a beautiful flower sash/belt, as well as a scalloped mid-length veil. I’m going to attach some pictures, and want your opinions on A) the dress itself! B) the accessories. I’m leaning towards the belt, but I feel like the belt and the veil is too much going on. I’ve also never really envisioned myself wearing a veil, although it is quite pretty. Without further adieu!
Final note (sorry this is so long!) – I forget what the name of the dress is! I know the designer is Australian, I believe it’s Sophia Tolli but I could be wrong!
