@peaseblossom:  DO WHAT YOU WANT! (that is my number one wedding advice)

It’s YOUR dress. This is one of the few things that is not about the guests or about your mom or your best friend or anyone else. Wear what you feel beautiful in and have a great time at it. If you’re worried you might regret it, sit on it for a while. Maybe chat about it with a friend who tends to be non-opinionated and supportive. Who cares what other people think!!! If you feel beautiful in it, you’ll look beautiful in it.

I know a girl who just wore this and it was GORGEOUS. And she ordered it in the nude/blush color. I would have said no before seeing her in it but now I say go for it. I’m sure she was blogged, off to find it…

ETA: Ok stole them off facebook 😉 Seriously SO PRETTY

I say do what you want. But since you asked for honest opinions, I think it’s awful. It’s hard to imagine that dress looking good on anyone.

@peaseblossom: Go for it! It’s about what you want. It’s a fun dress. If I wore it I wouldn’t be able to stop stroking those ruffles.

I wouldn’t pick it out for myself, but I also think that it can work on some women. If you love it, I say go for it. It seems like it would work with your venue and theme.

I think it’s a beautiful dress in both colors, but I didn’t vote because I don’t know how you will ultimately feel about it. I lean towards tradition, so I would personally go with the ivory. I know I would have regrets if I went with something others close to me disliked, but that’s just me. Of course, I would also have regrets if I went with a dress solely because it was well-received by family members. What do you think your FH would like the best on you?

I don’t love the nude color, but I guess I’d have to see it on you to judge it against your skintone. It’s beautiful in ivory, though (but I wouldn’t use that sash).

I also think it’s pretty bad.  I can’t imagine a groom seeing that and thinking it’s beautiful.  There is so much going on with it, it takes away from whoever is wearing it.

I love that dress and with you being fair skinned i think the blush colour will look stunning on you. You need to be true to yourself and do what you really want. It’s a really beautiful dress:))))

@gelaine22:  +1 that was my thoughts…..the color will not look good on everyone but the dress itself is seriously stunning!

@peaseblossom:  Can you try to sneak a few pics from the salon…..maybe go back and try it on just so we can get somewhat of an idea? The pics pp posted above form FB that bride looks stunning in the dress. It really sounds like you have your heart set on it…..try to focus on what makes you happy…..rem you certainly can’t please everyone when it comes to weeding planning!

I like it, but I’ve seen it IRL before and think the champagne is too dark for most skin tones. The ivory is much nicer!
