Two weeks should be plenty of time for alterations; you probably would only be able to do one round of fittings instead of (wedding industry recommended) three fittings.

“What if I’m not perfect because I don’t have a dress.”

Really?  That is a first world problem if I’ve ever heard one.  I’m sure that your husband-to-be will think you are beautiful and perfect just as you are, $2k dress or no.

youIl you should have just enough time. Try not to worry so much.

What would I do if I were you? I would just check in with the store every week or so to make sure the dress is still on track for a Dec. 1 arrival. Make then keep reporting to you so you know what’s going on and can make a plan B if need be (really doubt you’ll need one).

Don’t skip your wedding over this! 🙂

You will be fine–mine came in just weeks (I think 3) before my wedding and I had plenty of time. Just contact a seamstress now and let them know your situation and to make room for you!

Just breathe.

Whenever I worry about something I can’t control, my mom always tells me “99% of the things you worry about that you can’t control never come to pass.” It makes me feel better.. I hope it does the same for you!! 🙂
