Sooo, after my first dress poll, I have decided to drop Divina off my list of potential dresses as my mom did not like the Ivory and bees feedback on the proportion reallyyy made a lot of sense...
I have decided to keep Allure 8915 as a potential and also went back shopping and found two dressessssss i reallyyy likeee...
So which one do you like more on me bees???
Dress 1 - Ruffles - Allure 8915 - $1350 (runner up from last poll)
The ruffle skirt is super fun and is the cheapest too.

Dress 2 - Feather - La Sposa Mirra - $1825
I loveee the feathers on the top! bees that have seen my feather shoes poll to keep or return know i love feathers ejjejeje.. so thissss dresss the feathers were def the selling point... :)
The dress has this very romantic feeling.. it will goooo really well with the Randall shoes i ordered.. jeje
Dress 3 - Satin - Mikaella 1511 - $1650
It has the rouching that i like, however it does not come with the belt so that will be an extra expense and i am not 100% sure about satin top and organza bottom.. i would prefer it if it is organza all the way.. This is def a classic dress.
You look amazing in all of them! I'm leaning towards number one more. It's really fun but doesn't risk going over the top like the second one does.
How do I always pick the most expensive option? Love dress #2! It's so flattering on you and so fun!
I still like the allure best! The feathers look good too, not my style, but if you like feathers then rock it! I don't care at all for the last dress with the mixing materials, although i think the shape is still very flattering.
number one hands down. I'm not a fan of the satin/organza combo at all
I like the first one but voted for the second. I think it's really unique!
what do you bees think about the brooch on dress 2? would a small belt below my bust be better or a belt at the waist? or leave it as is?
Hey girl, I'm the bee who loved the BM feather shoes! I LOVE the La Sposa dress! not because of the feathers but becasue it loooks AMAZING on you.
@lstyle25: Leave it as is. I am not a fan of altering dress designs. I always feel the dress is designed that way because it looks best like that.
@gramgeek: yess i remember youuuu! thank you for your feather support! lols...:) not many bees like feathers apparently..i hope i dont regretttt returning the BM feather shoess..
Im not a huge fan of feathers BUT that dress looks AMAZING on you!!! too bad its the most expensive lol
I love the second one on you. I'm not super crazy about the broach/beading part in the center, but its not a dealbreaker. I think it fits your personality well too (since you love feathers). The first one is ok, but I'm not personally a fan of the ruffles. It does great things for your figure though. I don't like the mixture of fabrics on the last dress.
thank you bees for your feedback!
Could you bees let me know how Dress #1 is more flattering?
I think the cups/bust is way too big with this sample dress i had on, i am sure it will be smaller with the right size dress.. but is that what bee's are seeing as flattering?
Dress #2 has a more proportioned cups/bust size where even with the bigger sample dress i dont feel it is overly big that i'd be too concious about it..
@lstyle25: I think that it's the way the dress fits around the hips with crystal accent. it's super flattering! The 2nd one is still flattering, but it doesn't look as nice in that area.
@Utopia4us: thank you for the feedback! my hip do look bigger with dress 1 which is a good thing for me lols
@lstyle25: I like #2, the feathers are just right, but don't add a belt it wouldn't look as nice. This dress makes your hips look very narrow and your shoulders broader.
But I voted for #1, You have very small hips and a tiny waist, dress #1 really gives you an hour glass shape.
They are both beautiful dresses so you choose.
@Aussiemum: :O that's ittt!! i kneww ittt... mermaids make me look broaderr on toppp... i thought i was the only oneeee seeing it sooo.. i told my FI and he said iwas crazyy.. not so crazy afterall.. lols... ughh, i am soo stuckkk with gettinggg a mermaid tho.. i guess i should gym it out, tone my arms and burn some back fat or something if i decided to go w mermaids lols.. or wear something to make my hip bigger lolss
Not a fan of feathers so I'm going with dress #1. Dress #1 compliments you very well!!!
Dress 2 - Feather - La Sposa Mirra - $1825, now that is one amazing dress and it looks fabulous on you!
The Allure 8915 is pretty good too though.
thank you beessss... have anyone gotten a dress with swirls? Dress #2 has swirls but not sure how hemming would gooo.. Dress #1 with the right size i don't think it needs much hemming and it will for sureee not be as complicated as hemming dress 2.. sigh..
if anyone has come accross hemming swirls link me up to the post! i would appreciate it..
it will def help me in this decision between dress 1 and 2
I definitely like #1 the most... probably because it reminds me of my dress, Maggie Sottero Miri

#2 makes you look sooooo taaaaalllll and lean I love it. I usually go for the more dramatic but I just went with what's more commanding of my attention and it's #2 all the way
@Monkey786: Yes it fors looksinilar to miri! How did u wear your hair w the miri dress? I am trying to picture it in my head and all i can think of is sideponytail would go best.. However i want to wear my hair up tho
I love the second one with the feathers but im biased because i have a very similar dress by pronovias - duende. The only difference being the bodice is lace on duende but the bottom is the same and there are feathers along the bust line :) stunning!!
Ooh this is a hard one, you look awesome in all 3 dresses. I would go with number 2, I do love number 1 but I think those ruffles although very pretty now will certainly date very soon.
@Deedee1983: OMG! i was just eying the Duende dress before my appointment! i didnt even realized it is similar!.. gorgeous dress!... have you done or asked about alterations on the skirt? i am terrified that hemming it might destroy the current look of it T-T
I love La Sposa Mirra. It looks great on you. I actually just ordered it for my fall 2013 wedding and I am removing the brooch and adding a custom belt.
The owner at the boutique qouted me their standard price for having the dress hemmed and she also didn't say anything about the dress being difficult to alter. I am not sure if that is any help though.
@recentlyengaged: Hi dress twin!!! sooo glad to know another beeeee with same dress! do you mind me asking how much you are paying for your dress and how tall are you? do you have pics in it??
i am only 5'2" wearing a 5 inch heels so there still a good 2 inches that needs to be hemmed and i will also remove one of the 2 layer of crinoline in the skirt to make it look softer not as puffy.. as for the belt.. i am still deciding lols.. i am already over budget if i purchase this dress lols...
@lstyle25: Unfortunately, I don't have any pics in it. I paid $1,800 for the dress. Also, I am 5'8", but I will be wearing flats because my FI is the same height as me. So, I will need to get the bottom hemmed.
I also went over budget to purchase this dress, but I absolutely fell in love with it when I tried it on. While I love the dres how it is, the store owner removed the brooch when i initially tried it on because she thought it may look better without it. That's when I decided to add a belt; however, belts are much more expensive than I ever imagined.
@lstyle25: I loove #1 but that's because I just bought it a month ago so I'm a lot more biased. I also LOOVED MS Divina but after I saw endless posts about it on weddingbee and the price jump, I decided to go another route.
Here's a link of me in it without the crinoline--

Can't wait to wear her :)
Good luck in your search!
@Monkey786: must have been lovelyy!
@recentlyengaged: yess belts are expensiveee, i am way over my budget so wont consider getting the belt lols... david's bridal has some belts for $69 worth cheking out..
@kveloso: i saw your postttt! gorgeous dress on youuu... the train looks longer tooo! i am still undecided lols.. and same about the divina!! took me a while to take it off the list=.. i wasss soo set on itt! but the allure is gorgeouss! great choice bee!
I vote for #1 Allure one. The second one is good with feathers but it didn't shape very well.Same reason for the third one.
My body is like yours. The mermaid shape made me look unproportional. IMHO, all I am looking at are your broad shoulders and then the fluff on the boTtom..from chest to thigh area, it just falls flat.....I don't know if that helps..have you tried a-lines? It'll make your waist look tiny and accentuate your curves better..Mermaid makes yu look straight down, if that makes sense..but what do I know. those are my honest opinions.
