I would call/try the Vogue Cleaners in the Southside area or in Mountain Brook. They're known for doing wedding dresses and they hand press heirloom gowns, such a Christening gowns. They did my daughter's and it was wonderful. If that doesn't work, PM me and I'll think some more.
You also might call Carriage House Weddings {bridal store in Homewood} and ask if they have a suggestion. They might be willing to help.

I am getting married next Saturday (5/9)- 7 days! I live in Atlanta, but am getting married in Hoover which means I am bringing my dress over in my car. Because the dress is silk taffeta, it is going to be covered in wrinkles.
Can anyone recommend a reputable place to have my dress pressed before the big day? Please let me know!
