I ordered my dress (Allure 2716) without trying it on after falling inlove with it from the stock photos and from photos of another Bee in the dress. It arrived yesterday and I was so excited to try it on but I was so disappointed once I had it on. It was probably a stupid decision to buy it without trying it on as the model and the other Bee were a lot smaller than me so it was bound to look different. I don’t think it is flattering on me at all 🙁 I think my arms look so chunky and that I am showing far too much cleavage.
I keep thinking about the first dress I fell inlove with IRL and wondering if I just should of got it even though it cost $1250 more than the Allure…

I don’t like the Stella York (the gathered and ruched skirt is not my favorite), and I actually much prefer your original dress, which is classic and elegant (and that back is killer!). However, if you don’t love it and wouldn’t be happy no matter what, you may want to try to resell it and try more dresses on, if time allows.

I don’t think your arms look bad at all!! You look beautiful, if you don’t like the cleavage go and have some alterations done they will show you what they can change to be happier

OMG the Allure is FANTASTIC. It looks amazing on you and it’s beautiful.
I understand you like the Stella York but all I see when I look at it is every other damn dress every other bride is wearing. You had it right the first time! Keep the allure!

@Janelle123: I love the Allure! You look beautiful in it. If you don’t like the cleavage just get some alterations done. 🙂

I think you look great in both dresses… but I think the Stella York is a bit more special. You can’t go wrong though 🙂

I loooove your dress that you bought!! But if you don’t love it hopefully you can try to sell it and get your dream dress!

You look amazing in your dress, I think you should keep it. Maybe change what you don’t like about it.
But, if you are really having doubts, I suggest going and trying on the other dress you like again to see if you feel the same way about it. If you do, return your dress and buy the new one.
And then stop looking and dresses! With so many beautiful dresses out there its easy to have dress regret. Just remember why you loved what you chose!

KEEP THE ALLURE! It seriously isn’t even a question for me. It’s perfect on you!

@Janelle123: well, the Stella York is pretty and sparkly, but I love your dress. Really love it! and on you! I think that your dress is classic and yet is very “now” with those illusion straps and fabulous back interest.
I wonder what can be done about the cleavage reveal (which I think looks great, but I also understand if it is too immodest for you) besides a sheer bit of fabric as a modesty panel.

@Janelle123: I very much prefer the Allure. It’s very flattering on you – it highlights your face with the V neckline, and makes you look taller and lean. The back is just crazy gorgeous, and the skirt is soft and will float in pictures. And not to be weird, but your boobs look awesome in it.
The Stella York does not photograph well… it looks… inexpensive. The draped tulle across the skirt kind of reminds me of Belle. A little too princess-y for my tastes.

I love the Allure on you! Something about the Stella York just isn’t doing it for me.

@Janelle123: I actually like both and so just want to say GOOD LUCK! I went through dress regret as well and had convinced myself that the original dress would be fine with some alterations. I decided that if I found a dress for a good deal at a wedding expo, I would consider it. Well, I found THE dress there. And I couldn’t be happier. Ultimately, you’ll be happy with either dress on your big day so try not to stress too much. It’ll work out. And whatever decision you make, you will love.

The Allure is 309423094x better than the Stella! I love it!

@Janelle123: I think the Allure looks FABOULOUS on you!
