You’re dress is definitely not simple. The details on it are very beautiful. Have you tried it with a sparkly belt or sash?

Blushingbride10: That’s what are accessories are for! With a veil, hair and make up, and jewelry (maybe a belt??) you will look fabulous! For what it’s worth I think this dress is beautiful and you look gorgeous in it.

I think your dress is lovely. Why not add a sash to liven it up?

Blushingbride10: I think it’s a very beautiful dress, and you look amazing in it. I certainly wouldn’t consider it plain or boring, but it has a classy simplicity to it which means you can do whatever you want with your accessories.
Have you tried it with a veil, belt, and some simple jewellery (such as drop earrings and a bracelet)? You’d be amazed what a difference pulling your overall look together can make. Since you still have a fair bit of time, I would recommend going back to the store and trying on the sample again with some different accessories. If you’re still not happy, you can get them to clip the shape differently and if that doesn’t do it for you, you can seriously consider whether you want to keep shopping.
I think you look amazing and will be an incredibly stunning bride, no matter what you decide 🙂

Thanks so much for your replies! you raise a really good point when suggesting a belt and accessories! That would be a great next step to try with it. What type of belt do you think would look best? I just attached a picture with a viel I’ve tried on. I havent yet bought a viel Though. This is just an option. Maybe I’m just being silly. I just want to look absolutely perfect. I just don’t want to be too simple

I think its a really nice dress but can understand why you may think it is missing something. However, you arent fully dolled up with accessories as others pointed out, so that could have an impact as well. I think a nice rhinestone belt will add just enough sparkle to give it that little extra something you may be looking for, or you could even consider a colored sash that will match your bridesmaids dresses.
My personal preference would be for some nice rhinestone drop earrings and a blingy belt, think those two items along with the dress and veil will ensure you wont look too simple.

I think it looks beautiful on you! You can jazz it up with a sash and some jewelry, or even get some bling added to the neckline!

You look beautiful! I would add a soft coloured sash, tied with a nice bow in the back. Drop earrings for some drama and a long lace edged veil! Ps, that change room looks sooooo familiar, are you an Alberta bride by chance?

I really like the veil in the photo.

Your dress is beautifu! I agree with previous comments, the dress looks fantastic on you and with the right alterations it will really highlight your shape. Definitely try it with some blingy accessories and see how you feel.
I was recently second guessing my dress so I went back to the salon to try it on with my shoes and accessories. It had been two months since I paid the deposit, and I was losing the excitement I felt when I first tried it on. Of course, when I went back to try it on, I fell in love with it all over again!
How long ago were these pictures taken? Sometimes you just need to refresh your mind and go back to see it in person. Second guessing your dress is normal, so try as many options for accessories etc. before giving up on your dress.

Blushingbride10: I think it’s gorgeous and not at all simple! I think you’re just overthinking it because there’s so much choice out there! Remember you’ll have jewellery and makeup and hair done and these things make the difference too. 🙂

I also love the details on the dress — it’s classic and beautiful. I think once you get the dress in your size and then have it altered to fit you perfectly, that will make all the difference.

You’re all making me feel so much better! I should really try on as many accessories as possible and try to dress it up that way before I give up on my dress. I guess I should add those touches and wait till my actual dress comes in my size. Thanks so much, bees, for the reassurance. @MissLibra I am an Alberta bride! Are you?

Your dress is lovely; I’m sure after alterations are done it’ll look even prettier.
