… but only by a strike of sheer dumb luck! (Mostly dumb, as you’ll see…)
At the wedding show this weekend I saw the Allure 9100, and had my first honest-to-goodness pangs of dress regret. It has everything I wanted, some things that my dress now doesn’t even have (sleeves!) and it is just SO STUNNING.
And so I did the unthinkable… I emailed the local shop to ask the price. Ladies, this could have backfired on me so badly, because I don’t know what I would have done if the price was lower.
But, luckily, it’s quite a bit more expensive than mine! I don’t know if all my dress regret is gone, but it’s definitely not as bad now that I know my dress is in the right price range 🙂 Anyone else being a realist when it comes to their dress regret? Hahah.

You can always get a lace bolero with sleeves to wear on top to mimic this look for much less.

@nadnuk: I’m actually thinking of doing something like that! The biggest differences between this dress and mine are the sleeves and the beading–on my dress it’s on the skirt rather than the bodice. I still love this dress though! Sigh.

That dress is stunning. And I ordinarily don’t even like dresses with a lot of volume. But I bet your dress is gorgeous too. What did you buy?

I know what you mean. Something similar happened to a dress I loved on here. It was so much like my dress and had even more things that I loved. But a bee happened to mention that it was heavy-something I was sure I didn’t want.
