Personally, I think the dress you got looks wonderful on you and once you add a little embellished sash it will be perfect!!! I think you did great πŸ™‚

don’t worry — it will turn out perfectly.  My dress was originally an a-line skirt, but it was altered to a mermaid and turned out beautifully!  A good seamstress is worth more than the dress (almost!).

They are extremely similar. Sounds like you made a good choice. I like the neckline of the 2nd one, and if they can make it trumpet the way you like seems like it’s perfection. I agree that you need a pretty sash of some sort, but for that price I think it was a good move πŸ™‚

I think the dress you bought will be exactly what you want once the alterations get done to make it a trumpet style.  I say get a nice sash with a little bling and it will be perfect!  I think you did a great job getting the look you want for cheaper!

I think that the lace on the dress that you bought is of a much better quality, personally. I really love how it looks on you, too.

Just look for a sash that you like, so you have a little umph to it.

To be honest I really like the dress u chose on u the way it is.  I don’t like it on the model.  But that’s just me.  Looks beautiful and very similar to the almost dream dress πŸ˜‰

I think you did the right thing. Did they clip it for you so you could see what it looked like as a trumpet? They look so similar!

I think you did the right thing as well. The dress you got looks gorgeous on you, and will look even better when it’s altered to the shape you want!
