thefuturemrshartley:  I say stick with the dress you have! the Jcrew is way to casual for the ball room I think! I feel like once the dress fits you you will have a whole different love for it. Also its over whelming your frame because its needs to be hemmed! Im 5’6 and my dress was still about 4 inches too long! I think it looks so nice on you!

I’m not a huge fan of bubble hems, it looks like you are wearing sheets in them (IMO). That dress looks like it’s swimming on you. The top is pretty, but the belt hits at a weird spot (is it supposed to be on your hips?) The Arabelle is very simple and pretty, and I think it goes with a brunch reception better.

thefuturemrshartley:  You’re right. They are totally different.  I personally love the slim lines of the J Crew dress, but you look really happy in your current dress.  I’d at least try on the Arabelle to see if it’s even worth regretting your current dress.

I mean, if you love it, you love it. No biggie. I personally don’t like bubble hems (and that one looks like it would be tough to walk in anyway!)

thefuturemrshartley:  Alterations make ALL the difference. Once it is sized down from a 10 to a 6, you will feel much more comfortable in it.
