I bought Allure 8919 with the intention of not wearing the big bow on my butt. But I don’t like the pictures of me in. I bought the dress the first day of shopping. I felt rushed and overwhlemed and this was the first dress I felt comfortable in. I can’t come to terms with the idea of buying another dress because it’s too expensive and I really hate feeling high maintenance. My family loves the dress. I’m thinking I can find a way to make it better with alterations of some sort. Help?
Back view no bow:
And with the beautiful headband that I love and bought:

OMG you look so stunning in this dress! Have you tried it with veils yet? I was not a bride that felt the “this is the one!” moment with my dress, but when I finally put my veil on…that’s when i felt it! Seriously, you look so gorgeous in your dress!

If you dont like it, take it back to the store and ask if you can exchange it, say your very unhappy. or you can try and sell it. I think its pretty. maybe put a sash on it to bling it up a little.

Holy moly girl! You rock that dress! The headband is great. Accessories can really make this look pop!
Second off, since you’re new and you can still edit this post (you have an hour after you post), just so you know, Weddingbee shows up in Google search results. So if someone searches your someone searches for your dress model, your pictures will pop up. If you’re okay with that it’s fine, but I know there’s a lot of bees that wish they had known it sooner. You may just want to consider taking the dress make and model out of the post.

Your dress is gorgeous! You look absolutely beautiful!

I love the beautiful simplicity and clean lines of your dress. the details on the bodice and buttons are really nice and it looks great on you. Since you are having a fall wedding you could always look for a bolero or even a light fur shawl to change your look up some…

you are crazy! haha that dress look absolutley amazing on you! don’t you dare change a thing!
i didn’t have that “ah ha” moment with my dress either. I really liked it when i bought it but had horrible dress regret leading up to the wedding. I’m so glad i kept that dress because i felt so beautiful on my wedding day and i’m so glad i didn’t change my dress.

You in this dress makes me wish I had something this simple and pretty. I think the blinging belt would be a perfect addition but otherwise I just love you in this dress. You have to love it though. Maybe play a little dress up and see who you feel about it. Add the veil and fix your hair and makeup. I think you will see how special it is on you then.

I LOVE your dress. I might be biased because it is very very very close to the dress that I wore, but I think you look beautiful and it really would look nice with some accessories. Feel free to creep some of my recent posts to see pics of me at my wedding last weekend…it might help you get some perspective and see what a dress like that looks like when you’re all jazzed up 🙂 You look beautiful!

MrsCarnival I checked out some of your pictures. I also have the clean/simple lines kind of dress and seeing pictures of other girls rocking them makes me feel better about it in the current world of lace and bling!
