As I’m heading into my final fitting today I’m finally admitting if I had to do it over again I probably would’ve waited a lot longer before deciding on my dress and probably would’ve gone in a different direction. I do love my dress but I think I love another a little more. It was everything I was looking for but I feel it’s too safe (if that makes any sense). Am I alone? Any advice or reassuring words to help me get through this? Wedding is so close I have to just suck it up 😕

I like the Vera Wang WAY more!!! So elegant and chic. The other one’s neckline is one that I don’t think would be flattering on anyone (looks really unflattering on the person wearing it in the pic in my opinion) and the odd cap sleeve thing is just weird and out of place. Enjoy the dress you got! Spice it up with a lace or blingy veil and maybe a head piece if you’re feeling too simple?! Adding jewelry can help too! You’re gonna make a stunning bride I’m sure!

Ooooh, I’ll admit that second one is fabulous.
BUT it’s very ‘of the moment’. It looks incredibly fashionable in 2017, in 2027 it’s going to look terribly dated.
The one you have will stand the test of time – you’ll look just as classically gorgeous 30 years down the road as you will on your wedding day.

sparklebabynyc : see I think the second one is bad. Love the first

i love your dress a lot more then the other one. It fits you like a glove. Personally i think the second dress with the extra drop in the neckline might have shown too much. The sleeves on the second one are just in a really odd place, i think the second dress would look a lot nicer without them.

Keep yours!!!!!! It’s fabulous!!!!!!

I agree the second one doesn’t even look flattering on the girl wearing it. I think yours is great and I love the soft flow to it even though it’s tight/mermaid.

You look impeccable in the first one- the second one is pretty but I worry that it is too “trendy.”

Definitely prefer the dress you’ve chosen. You look fabulous!
That other dress is very ‘now’, but it would date in your photos had you chosen it.

I don’t even like second one on the model.

Your dress is more wow than the other one so don’t second guess it.

Your choice is beautiful , it’s classic with clean lines which means it can be open to interpretation. Add a sparkly belt or whatever you feel it needs – I think it looks stunning on you – imagining you with a lovely elegant up do and lovely jewlerey. Because your dress is simple but has the dramatic ruffles you can accessorise however you like and go with a little bit more dramatic makeup if you wanted. I don’t think your dress is too safe, it’s got the stunning strapless neckline and the beautiful ruffles, it’s such a bold white too that it just pops.
