Okay so I truly believed I’d never be the girl with dress regret but here I am posting a little over 3 months out from my wedding. Please vote for your favorite and I would LOVE to hear why!
Dress #1: Maggie Sottero Bianca
Dress #2: Paloma Blanca 4363

@purplepie45: I adore #2 on you.
#1 adds way to much unflattering bulk to your figure (you really have to be careful with that swept ruching/gathering-style), while #2 accentuates how slim you are. Also, the bottom adds a lovely amount of fullness without being OTT. Plus, #2 is so pretty!

I completely disagree with the pp. I think #1 does wonders for your figure! I think the bulk of the skirt on #2 does your body no justice. It doesnt look bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I would go with #1 hands down!

@purplepie45: you look so tiny! And I dont mean that in a negative way. What other silhouettes have you tried on? I dont know if I love either of these so I voted to keep looking if you can.

@MlleFabuleux: Thank you so much for your opinion! 🙂

@purplepie45: I LOVE the Paloma Blanca!! I think it’s much better suited to a summer wedding, since the fabric is lighter, and would flow more, if that makes sense. #1 is pretty, and if you’re having a very formal event, it might be better, but really, the PB is amazing.

I think they are both pretty, but I personally love #2.
Number two because it looks very romantic on you and I like the material better.

@purplepie45: Love the second one, but what does your “regret dress” look like?
It could just be the photo, but I think #2 makes your chest look weird. Having said that, for my wedding I went against the tide of opinions on here and just went with the dress that I liked most and felt so much happier and more comfortable.

Dress 2 is perfect on you! I love the romantic style & the way the silhouette really flatters your shape. So so so beautiful!
I don’t really like 1. Not really a fan of the fabric or, as PP said, the “unflattering bulk” it adds.

@purplepie45: I voted for the Paloma Blanca. It’s a beautiful dress and I prefer the style of this one over the Maggie Sottero anyway, but it’s also much more flattering. The ruching/draping of the Maggie Sottero hits you at odd points and adds bulk in your hips that I don’t think is actually there. The Paloma Blanca accentuates your small waist and flows out nicely without being too poufy and overwhelming.

I don’t think you could go wrong with either dress! 🙂

It’s hard for me to choose one because each of them is beautiful, just in a different way.
The satin ruched gown says “classic and elegant” to me while the ruffle skirt one is more of a “young, carefree, trendy” look. To me, they both looking flattering on you. A lot of times in these dress threads, there is one dress that is clearly the winner, but I honestly think either one would suit you well. It just depends on whether you prefer the “elegant” feel or the “youthful/trendy” feel.

I actually like both, but if I had to choose based on the pics you posted, I voted #1
