The second dress looks so much better on you! I am personally not I fan of the skirt on the first, but I also agree that it did not flatter your body as well as the second. Congrats!
@TatianaK: Thank you!! I liked the bodice of the first one but I think it's the skirt which I realized I hate. It's too wide and I feel like the dress swallows me up. I also realized I hated the pick-ups as well as the rosettes on the skirt.
@moneekw: Thanks! I feel sexy in this dress and it feels more "me".
You made a fantastic choice, I can see all the hard work you've put in in the second dress. You look fabulous!
You made a great choice!! Personally, I love the new dress like a thousand times more than the original dress!
Oh yeah, LOVE the Adorae! You look stunning in both of them, but it's time to show off that figure that you worked so hard for!
Dress #2 is SOOOOOO much better! What are you going to do with the first dress?
Thanks Ladies. You are all confirming that I made the right decision.
@sayingyestothedress: I guess I'm going to try to sell it.
I think you made the right choice in getting the second dress. Dress #1 did nothing for you, and you look way better is Dress #2.
@fallbridetobe2013: wow! i hope you don't take offense to this, and i totally mean it in an great way- but you look about 3 sizes smaller in the new dress! great choice!
You made the right choice! I too was a dress regret girl and I am sooooooo glad I changed. I love my new dress.
Your new dress is fantastic on you! Very flattering! Congrats on the weight loss!
@fallbridetobe2013: Wow. Honey you sure did the right thing. Is the first dress the Sabelle?
@fallbridetobe2013: The second dress is so flattering, looks amazing on you!!
@CatyLady: It is not the Maggie SaBelle. It's made by The Richman Group. It's their Madison Collection. I think it is a knock-off version of the SaBelle. It's a gorgeous dress. Just not the right choice for me.

@fallbridetobe2013: I like the second one much more too.
Holy crap, I wouldn't have even guessed that was the same person. You look so much better in the new dress!
I liked the first one. More elegant. Not a fan of mermaid type gowns, personally. But you need to wear what you love, and you look very nice in the second dress. :)
@fallbridetobe2013: Thought it looked like the Sabelle. Only know it as when I tried my dress on for alterations the girl next to me tried The Sabelle on and chose it, I then recommended it to a friend
The second one is SO much more flattering. We can see your figure (fantastic) and it's so chic. Plus, the first one looks like it's wearing you, not the other way around. Great decision!
Definitely made the right choice- you look amazing! All the pickups on the first seem a bit old school to me, but that's just imho.
I usually think people are crazy for having dress regret, but in this case I think you made a fantastic choice. The second dress flatters you so much better and looks beautiful on your body!

I have been experiencing the dreaded dress regret for quite some time now. I bought my dress prematurely for our September 2013 wedding thinking it was "perfect" and it was such a good deal, I couldn't pass it up.
Since I purchased the dress I have worked extremely hard to lose at least 15 pounds. This weekend I had a complete dress-meltdown and realized my original dress wasn't right for me. It doesn't flatter my body or show off all the hard work I've put into losing weight. I didn't want to spend the money on another dress but I want to feel beautiful on my wedding day and I knew putting on my original dress wasn't going to do it for me. I was fortunate enough to find a gorgeous Maggie Adorae second-hand and purchased it right away. I think it it much more flattering and I feel like I've picked the right dress this time around.
Here's a pic of my old dress:
And the new one:
The pictures aren't that flattering but you get the idea.
I think I made the right choice. What are your thoughts?
