Why are you less than satisfied with the first one? Have you tried it on? How did it fit? How did it flatter you?
@Millia: Honestly I like your original dress so so so much more than the new one you like. The first one is so ethereal and beautiful and the second one (to me) sort of looks like two different dresses copied and pasted together and doesn't flow as nicely. I think you made the right choice with the first one and should at least wait until you get it and can see it on you before you get dress regret.
@kaylee26: I bought the old dress online so didn't get a chance to try it on. It might fit well but the new one looks just so lovely and speical in style, so i don't know whether i should keep the old dress or cancel and go for the new one.
@CarolinaCola: Thanks for your honest opinion! Maybe i should keep the old one and see what it looks like before i have the regret..

Just my opinion, but your original dress looks far nicer! If it flatters you, go with it. It's only normal to second guess yourself, but don't change things and then end up disappointed with your choices!
@Millia: I definitely think that's what you should do. Because I bet you'll fall head over heels all over again with your original dress as soon as you put it on!
It's not that I don't like the second dress, but that I don't think you've given the first one a real chance. You've already put some investment in the first one, you should try it on.
@bigcitybee: Thanks, honey, i think i will just keep the old one cuz seems you all like my old dress more than the new one. I guess i just have no sense of fashion or beauty

I like the original dress more than the second one. I definitely agree with the ethreal qualities of the first dress; the second one does seem a bit "photoshopped" together to me as well. IN the second dress, the textural qualities of the top with the bottom seem kind of a contradiction in my honest opinion.
And obviously you DO have good taste, as the first dress was your original choice! Not saying I hate the second one. I just like the first one more. ;)
I just had a look at the website to see the cost of the dresses. They aere very good value, so I wonder what if you order the second dress as well, try them on and see how you feel in each one. The dress you choose not to wear, you could then sell either through ebay or newspapers etc.
LOVE the original.....and you just have to try really hard not to look at other dresses at all!!..lol I cant even watch "Say Yes To The Dress" without major dress regret and i LOVE my dress!! your first pic is STUNNING..stick with it (0=
I like the original dress much better than the second. I love the color and the unique shape.
My mom always told me, "there will always be another dress!" meaning, you can drive yourself nuts if you keep looking. There's always something prettier, cheaper, etc. Stick to your original choice, you picked it for a reason!
I like the original one way better than the second one. The second one looks rather outdated imo...
I like the first one way better! But yeah, I agree with some PPs, you may drive yourself a little crazy if you keep looking. Perhaps you could find a local seamstress that might be able to do some custom alterations to make your dress more "yours?"
I prefer the first dress. It is just lovely. The lines and material really get my attention so much more than the second dress.
i agree with the rest, as the 2nd dress is indeed pretty..the 1st dress seems to have more style and more eye catching appeal. I would wait until you recieve the 1st dress because you may fall head over heels for it once its on
Sorry but I have to agree with the other ladies! The second dress is beautiful but I love the first dress so much more! It has more personality and character and it's just gorgeous!
I agree with pps that the original dress you chose is much more elegant and beautiful than the second. I think you may just be attracted to the more dramatic lines shown in the second dress and pic (including the V of the V-neck, the V in the bride's tiara, etc.) vs. the much softer and more ethereal look of the first, and maybe the fact that it's shown in white makes it stand out more to you. However, I think the first dress looks like a designer gown; the second, not so much. Just my opinion. To see if I may be right, try covering up the models' heads when you look at the pics, and also try printing out the pics and photocopying them so that both dresses are shown in gray tones, and see if that helps you decide.
I'll be honest, I really don't like the second dress. It looks too young, like a quinceanara dress. The first is much more sophisticated and adult.

I think the first one is so pretty and classy. I think they both have similar bottoms, but when you look back on pictures, I think the first one is more of a classic look. Give it a shot, and if you don't like it, you can always try to sell it. You'll be beautiful no matter what!

I agree that you should keep the original. It has a beautiful one of a kind look to it and is memorable. The second one has a dated feel to it already.
@GroovyHippieChick: Not yet, It's still being made now. It's just the style of the second dress looks so cute and speical to me, although i know you guys don't like it..
I just realized that we are ordering dresses from the same site!! Isn't it wondeful?!! BTW, I like the first one and honestly think it's much more beautiful than the second one, which doesn't flow naturally from the top to the skirt!
@Millia: ah! Well I'd definitely wait until the dress comes in and you try it on before looking at anything else. I do love the first one!
