@CocoClassic:  This is really difficult for me to answer!! Let me start off by saying that the dress you have currently to wear is GORGEOUS, and no matter what you do, you will be stunning in it!!

With that said, I really really like the first one on you too 🙁   The Jasmine’s one you are awaiting to hear back on is still slightly different than that one…i.e., where I love the strapless look on you in all three, that one has a strap!!

So, I guess my vote is to keep what you have, since you (and myself) are 100% sure it looks amazing!!  Whereas, you are risking getting the Jasmine and NOT loving it?!

FWIW, I love the dress you bought!  I think it’s so elegant and flattering!

@CocoClassic:  You have to LOVE it because it’s your day. Do what your instinct is telling you. I got a beautiful dress during my first shopping trip and ended up realizing I could buy other dresses that would normally be out of my budget if I bought them used online and bought a second dress and now I’m selling my first one. To be completely honest, I haven’t gotten a lot of interest in the dress I’m selling, but I think it’s because it’s A – a probably uncommon size (0), and B, because I haven’t discounted it a ton because it’s brand new with tags. Either way, I still think it’s worth it, even if I end up selling it for half of what I bought it for. I’m SUPER excited to wear the other dress now and I never felt that way with the first one. Go with what your heart wants!

I had some dress regrets (mine had to do with the design of mine, it was made for me by a relative), and even two years after the wedding, whenever I think about it I get a little annoyed. the annoyance fades over time, it’s not the end of the world, but I do wish I had done something about it at the time instead of keeping my mouth shut.

I say go for it. The dress you want is very pretty. The good thing is, you could keep trying to sell the David’s bridal dress even after the wedding. You can pretty much keep trying to sell it until it goes out of style!  I know this is not what everybody likes to do, but would you consider also trying to sell your second dress after the wedding too? that way you could have a couple of options to get your money back.

Dress regret rule #1: Once you buy a dress, stop looking at others, then you won’t have dress regret!

@rickhurst35:  If you read the post, her two other dresses basically got taken away from her due to various circumstances, so she HAD to look for a third dress.

@CocoClassic:  Hey almost date twin!  Super frustrating.  🙁  Probably not helpful now, but Mori Lee 5108 (looks like it’s around $650?) looks pretty close to your original dress.

@CocoClassic:  I can’t help but make an observation: in photo #1 you are totally striking a happy pose, and you are working it. in #2, less happy, but still proud. in #3, you are kind of slumping in defeat.  I think that deep down, you know you want that other dress!

@CocoClassic:  The DB does look nice on you – but based on the other 2 dresses you chose – it doesnt seem to be your style. the other 2 and your jasmine pick has the bandage style – the DB dress doesnt.  You know your style – be true to it.  If the DB one doesnt truly represent you, then get a different one!

@OUgal0004:  I agree 100%!

@CocoClassic:  I swear I’m not just saying this, the one you currently have is stunning on you! Totally complements your figure.

Before I even read what everyone wrote, I said to myself that this would be a hard decision. Even though your face is hidden, I can tell just by the way your posing/standing that you like the first two dresses better than the third.  I like your idea of posting the DB dress to see how much you’ll get for it. Even if you don’t get enough to buy the Jasmine dress, the couple of hundred you will get will offset the price.  In the end, you should be totally happy with your decision. Good luck!
