All the usual comfort brands are good - Sofft; Aerosoles; Clarks. You might want to try ballroom dance shoes for dancing. Also, think about wedges - they offer way better arch support than regular shoes. And if you're wearing a long dress, go for comfort over style because nobody will notice.
I have the same problem. My dress is long, so I decided to wear gold Mephistos that have little rhinestone buckles. I'd rather look like I'm wearing fancy Birkenstocks at my wedding than have to take Vicodin!
I've also heard that lidocaine patches can be helpful.
I've heard that those Cole Haan shoes that have collaborated with Nike are really comfy!
To me they are "bank breakers" but for a wedding shoe it would be worth it!
I now wear orthotic inserts, and they come with little velcro tabs that you can basically stick on any shoe or sandal. You might consider a cheaper option (like superfeet) and use velcro to stick them into the foot bed for extra support. You can't really see them, even in a sandal, b/c they'r right under your foot.

Ok Miss Meatball's post has made me realize that maybe some of you know of some good heels with arch support. I have really high arches and have to wear orthodic inserts in my tennis shoes but that doesn't work for dress shoes. If you know any good brands, especially if they aren't bank breakers. I know you get what you pay for but I can't spend $500 on shoes.
