I’ve scoured the Bhldn site and also sites with pre-owned Bhldn dresses, and I LOVE the taste/style of these dresses, but I am so apprehensive about buying something online. Does anyone know of a dress shop here in Montreal (or even Qc City) that has these kinds of flowy, updated vintage type styles? I just feel like I don’t even know where to start!
Thanks for any tips!

i totally get you! I loved the BHLDN look but was so apprehensive about buying online but I couldn’t find a way to try them on and was in a rigid timeline (I eloped!) so here’s what I did: I went to a professional seamstress and got measured all around. Then I compared those measurements to the BHLDN’s website’s and bit the bullet. I got the size that seemed the most similar to my own measurements and got it altered locally. It worked beautifully! I’m not saying that you should do the same, only that it IS possible. Good luck!

TanyaB4: hey back! Im in the US so I didn’t have to pay those fees! I can’t believe you’d have to pay 800 just for customs!

You know most of the dresses on BHLDN are not exclusives, we carry many of the Wtoo dresses they have in the boutique I work at. You could always see if any stores in the area carry any of the styles individually.
