Hi, I am pretty new here!
I just ordered my dress for my destination wedding on the beach in Florida, and I couldn’t wait to share it!
I went shopping in search of a mermaid or trumpet style white gown.
I ended up with a blush a-line ballgown, and could NOT be happier! I would have never even tried my dress on if my aunt hadn’t insisted!
Anyone else gone shopping to find that they only thought they knew what they wanted?

Wow, it’s gorgeous and looks awesome on you! Good thing your aunt was there to make you try it on =)

You look awesome! Is the dress a slightly blush color?

Aww you look so beautiful and happy! I was dead set on a full lace dress, then on a particular other dress. It took an amazing bridal store lady to get me to try a dress I wasn’t considering and that was that!

OH wow, that dress is LOVELY on you!

This dress is much more blush than it looks in the picture. The photo was just from a phone, so it didn’t really capture the beautiful color.
Thanks for all of the nice feedback!

You look amazing! The same thing happened to me. I KNEW I wanted a lace mermaid. The emphasis on lace. I ended up with a ruffled fit and flare. Funny how things work out!

yes! yes! yes! I just went dress shopping and found the dress tonight (going to sleep on it) and it’s pretty opposite of what I thought I was going to get!

You ladies are so sweet!
I was just shocked when I tried this one on and loved it!
Go figure it would be the opposite of everything I thought I wanted. I know I probably wouldn’t have found my dress that day if I hadn’t been open to trying on different silhouettes.
