Make sure to wear “full bum” underwear (no thongs). I made that mistake my first time dress shopping and gave a few consultants a nice view lol. Also, wear (or bring) a strapless bra. That’s about all I have. Happy shopping 🙂

Make sure it’s somethingg you won’t be embarrassed to be seen in by your consultant. The do the best they can to give you your privacy, but they do have to clamp you in to the dresses and help you make adjustments, so don’t wear anything that will make you uncomfortable.

Beyond that, I’d say make sure you wear the kind of bra appropriate to the kind of dress you’re looking for – i.e. if you plan to look at strapless dresses, go ahead and wear a strapless bra.

Have a wonderful time. And Good Luck!

I wore my usual undies and bra. But, I brought spanx with me. I bought a bridal bra at the shop too and tried my dress on with it before i offically bought it 😀

Just the usual underwear should be fine. I’m sure they’ve seen it all. I wouldn’t worry about a bra. Most places either put me in a longline bra or told me to just take off my bra.

I’d wear something nude or white that you feel pretty in.  Like others have said, the consultant is going to see you in it a lot so leave the slack elastic period panties at home.  I wore red panties to a shopping trip and everyone knew it.  It was funny but others may not feel the same way.

When I tried on dresses, I just wore undies. All the dresses had built in bras so I didn’t wear one.

Some of the dresses have corsets built in.  For these dresses you don’t need a bra and it may look a little off with a bra!
