So i am finally going dress shopping TOMORROW! We have already had to cancel once because of a family emergency and of course now it is snowing, but the plan is to go tomorrow! Any advice for a first time shopper? I am so anxious about it…. Have all the pictures of things i like, but i just am afraid i won’t be able to make a decision or something! Any advice is welcome to help calm these nerves (which i realize seems ridiculous!)…

@saraking: Don’t worry! You will have fun. My advice: try on things you maybe do not see yourself picking. I find so many women say they ended up picking a dress that they did not expect to pick. Have fun with it. Good luck!

Just have fun with it!
I think it’s hard to find soemthing you like if you feel pressured or like you NEED to find a dress THAT APPOINTMENT!

@saraking: Wear full coverage underwear, because the consultant will most likely be seeing them. Wear a strapless bra. Go out of your comfort zone and try things that you think you might not like. My two favorite dresses were actually dresses that I almost didnt try on! Try to relax and have fun!

Aaaah!! So exciting!! Just go and have fun! Don’t feel bad about yourself or your body if a dress doesn’t work out – it’s the dress’s fault, not yours! 😉
Don’t feel pressured into having that “say yes to the dress” moment on your first time out – just try on as much as you can to see what styles work best on your figure! Eat a light lunch/breakfast before you go! And I always made sure to do a bit more makeup than my usual look, just so I would feel extra fabulous trying stuff on!
Have fun and good luck!! Bring us back pictures!
