My mom and I are going shopping for a wedding dress in August. I know this will be a big moment for my mom. Her mother died when she was 7 and so she did not get to have an oppertunity to have this experience. Does anyone have any ideas of how to celebrate this occasion, I was thinking of a charm bracelet, but I’m not sold on that idea. I’d also like to some how involve my deceased grandmother in some way. Thanks for any ideas.

Oh, how sweet of you! What a wonderful way to honor both your mother and grandmother. Is there anything of your grandmother’s that you could incorporate into your look? Jewelry, hankercheif, etc.? If you do, I think that bringing it with you would be a wonderful way of having your grandmother’s presence there.

Can you find pictures of your mother and grandmother as brides? Perhaps a locket with their pictures in it, and an empty space for your picture when it comes?
