I decided to start looking for dresses Friday. Just to see what styles I liked on me. Lo and behold, the ones I loved online, looked great on me. Some looked better online, and some looked better on. But I am very decisive and know what I like and dislike instantly. But all seemed to be have a something wrong.
I had been to two places already and was having a great time just trying stuff on. I went to my last appointment and the dresses they were picking based on what I was describing, just weren’t cutting it AT ALL. Wayy too much sparkle, wrong fabric, too much ruching, too poofy, just looked meh, etc. I was about to just head home when they said well what about this one?? I liked most of it, so I decided to try it on to please them and my family.
It was a halter top (which I hated) but the rest was PERFECT! It even had pockets!!! (I never know what to do with my hands) So we decided we will unhook it and tuck it in the top. A seamstress can alter it to be a sweetheart neckline, add a flowery sparkly sash, a veil, and a haircomb, and VOILA!!! There she was… I almost cried.. I am not an emotional person either, I loathe lovey dove movies and sappy songs. But this dress blew me away. I have been watching say yes to the dress for quite a while now, and some people never have that wow moment. I figured I would be one of those people.. I was wrong 🙂
p.s. I HAAATE the stock picture, so that goes to show, just because you dont like the stock photo doesnt mean it has no potenital
O and i got the dress for $421! But the accessories cost as much as the dress 🙁 but they match perfectly and I dont have to run around worrying if things will match or not. Stress and time saved. So it was worth it to me.
