Catan’s is probably your best bet. There are a couple in Rocky River that look pretty nice. Both within 100 feet of each other. The one I’m thinking of is called The Perfect Bride and I can’t remember the name of the one across the street (but the look like they have a big selection). I think theres a Brides by Demetrios in Beachwood. Oh, and Henri’s Cloud Nine in Medina is supposed to be good.

@Pearberry:  I bought my dress off the rack at a sample sale and found Laura at A Bride’s Design to alter it.  I wish I would have known about her before I bought a dress because she designs and sews beautiful gowns at a fraction of the cost that Catan’s sells them for.

I got my dress from a smaller shop in Willoughby Hills, called Galleria Gowns.. they have lots of nice dresses, are super friendly & it seemed the dresses were priced good! I know about 4 girls (besides me) who got their dress there.

i probably tried on over a hundred dresses.

i went to david’s, catan’s (really a 1-stop shop…they carry most brands), leonardo’s in rocky river, brides by the falls ($3000+), Henri’s Cloud 9 (some funky stuff), Dora’s in Fairview Park (Casablanca), Expressions in Mentor (wasn’t crazy about them), and probably a couple i’m forgetting.  then someone recommended Galleria in Willoughby Hills.  They had the perfect dress. i never would have gone all the way out there, believe me. it was just a lucky coincidence. it was about double what i was going to pay at david’s. but i’m more than doubly happy. and they know how to FIT anyone. they don’t really negotiate tho. but you can sometimes buy a floor model and save a couple hundred.

good luck!
