I wear a 10/12 street size, typically a 14 in dresses (otherwise they don’t fit my bust), and my wedding dress was an 18. It actually fit me perfectly even though my measurements tend to be inbetween several sizes.

I’m wearing Rosa Clara. Her clothes run small so I’m ordering a size up.

@DreamInColor:  I’m wearing White by Vera Wang, my street size for dresses is usually an 8, my wedding dress size is a 12 but it needs alterations.

I’m an hourglass/pear shape (i’m not quite bottom heavy enough to be a pear but not balanced enough to be an hourglass…)

I wear an 8 on top and a 10/12 in pants.  The wedding dress is too big in the bust and a little sung in the hips.

My street size is a 2-4 and my dress size was a 6.  There isn’t much difference between my chest, waist and hips, as I am relatively ruler-shaped.  I usually wear a size 3 in pants and an extra small or small in tops.  The dress I bought was Allure, though interestingly, everything I tried on at David’s (where I did not end up purchasing my dress) was a size 4, and too big on me.  I think it really depends on what designer you go with.

@DreamInColor:  I am street size 2 or 4. I ordered Jim Hjlem dress size 8 but I am starting to get anxious and wonder whether I should have ordered a 6 instead. The sample I tried was a 6 and it fit perfectly except would not zip the last 1.5 inches because of my ribcage. I am fretting over it now…
