I am getting a little nervous about the dress size ordered. I bought the Mikaella 1315 dress…my measurements are 34.5 26.5 and 36….the size 8 is 34 26 37…they said that should be fine instead of going to the 10. Now I am wondering why I just did not go with the bigger size???!!! Has anyone had an experience where the dress is too small? Is there anyway to salvage if it is? I am working out like crazy but the dress is not to come in until the end of November…uggg…so SO so nervous.

I also ordered a Mikaella dress. You are only a bit smaller than me and my dress is a 10. I wear a d-cup though and I needed that extra room in my bust. The waist still has to be taken in. What size did you try on in store? I’m sure if the girls at the boutique measured you properly you’ll have nothing to worry about.

I think you’ll be fine, but in some dresses there is enough fabric to let out about an inch or so. So in the off chance the dress it too small, you can get it let out through alterations.

I think you should be fine. If you get the 10, you may have to get a lot of alterations. The 8 seems like it should be just right.

Ahhh…thank you everyone. I tried the 10 on in the store not terribly too big but def in my chest and around hips and such…good to know that there may be an inch of fabric to work with…thanks again for the comments. Off to the gym!

If I were you I’d be nervous too. That’s what brides do–we fear everything and think everything will be horrible. I think your situation will turn out just fine, though.
I’m not familiar with that dress. Is it corset or zipper? If it’s corset, you will be absolutely fine! I wouldn’t worry about it for a second! If it’s zipper, it is still probably fine! You will be nice and snug, but the dress will stretch the more you try it on and zipper it. If it is too tight, you will probably be able to let it out. A half an inch is not a big deal.
