I know I have time to look, we aren't getting married until Oct 2012.  But I am losing my mind trying to find a dress.  Being plus size just makes it so hard.

This is the first one I fell in love with

I really like the first one and the fourth one.  You are beautiful and will make a stunning bride whatever dress you pick.

#4 without a doubt.  it suits your figure the best and is simply just a gorg dress!

    @MrsTimmy:

believe it or not, half of the post didn't post.  Anyway, here is the latest one I'm leaning towards, but just losing my mind.  My fiance wants something that shows off my breast (boy)..and he doesn't like the ones that cut me in half.  Also when we met I was a size 8 so I'm sure he wants something that makes me look smaller.

I love the 3rd from last! There's something about it that makes you stunning!!! Not that you're not beautiful in the other dresses, it's just that dress... and you're getting married one day before me, I already have my dress girl, I bought it last year in August, 2 months after the FI proposed hihi....

I like the last dress from the first post. I think the sweetheart neckline is so flattering and it makes you look tiny

I am so confused...things I thought didn't look good at the time, I am rethinking, and things I thought I loved are not looking as good.  Maybe I'm just saturated.

I absolutely love the last one from your first post. If your venue is more formal I'd go with the 6th one down. Good luck!

    @couawilou:

Hey, I see you are in toronto.  We are getting married at the Glen Erin Inn - Mississauga on the Friday night.  Candlelit ceremony at St Peter's church.  I want something elegant and that says candle in autumn in Toronto.  I am also 46yrs old, I will be almost 48 by the wedding.  First time down the aisle.  You don't think that dress is too young for an old fart like me?

    #18 is AMAZING on you!!!

I know it's tought!  I'm surprised (and thankful) that I loved my fave going in, it was the only one I tried on... and I bought it.

Many of them are nice, but I really love #18.

You do have lots of time - so don't buy until you're certain.

    Good luck!

You're getting married on my birthday! Only the best day in the whole wide world!

That aside, I think I like the ballgown or a-line silhouette the best for you, as in numbers 6, 17 and 18.. I think they really make your waist look small and bring the eyes up to your face, which is where you want everyone to be looking anyway, right? I'm not crazy about either of the dresses in these pictures, but i do love the style on you. What do you like about each of these dresses? Is there something in particular you like? I think it's important (since you've already tried on so many dresses) to get an idea of the silhouette you like first, then find out if you want beading or not, lace, etc so then you can narrow it down even more. That way, if you're always sticking with the same silhouette you might not actually need to try every dress on if they don't have your size in the sample, you know? You do have lots of time though, so don't stress about it too much. If there isn't something you're absolutely head over heels for this season, wait for the next one, and check out all the threads here on weddingbee to give you an idea of what looks good on other brides as well- that may help. Either way, find something you love yourself in, that's the most important part :)

EDIT: after reading your responses just now, i'm really loving #18 even more on you. I think it says elegant and romantic, yet still fun with those little flower details, and it definitely says autumnal candlelight :)

I like the first, second and sixth.  You look stunning in all three of those, so I can't choose a favorite between the three.

I have to say, I know others have said they like it, but I'm not a fan of #4.

You truly do look beautiful, and I'm sure you will look gorgeous no matter which dress you choose.

well obviously the back will look way different in your actual size.  i think it actually gives you a straight line through the midsection

1 is so pretty and elegant. I also like 16,17,18,19. But in reading the feel you are going for I still like #1 the most for autumn candle light ceremony. Then 16 and 18. I think you look great!

OMG..... I should have know that it was going to be just as difficult.  There is no clear winner in this race.

Maybe if I showed you the back to last dress.  Also, here is the first dress in Ivory.  The first dress was my first choice, but now the last dress seems to be my first choice.  Actually, I think keep shopping might by first choice.

@MrsTimmy: If you are confused or overwhelmed, I would recommend to keep shopping, do not make a decision when you're feeling this way, cuz you might end up regreting it. Take your time in choosing your dress. :-) Someone once told me this when I went shopping last year, and that's what I did, I got lucky that I found my dress and fell in love :-)

There are so many options and you look beautiful in so many of them. You should add a poll to sort the responses better.

On another note: I think the straps were most flattering on you than no straps. Don't know if you have a preference one way or another. But I found myself drawn to the dresses with straps, and not because of the skirts. I loved the skirts on the strapless ones but kept wishing they had straps.

I do agree that if you feel overwhelmed that you should keep looking. Like with most things in life, when you know you know. Good luck! :)

I like 1, 9, 12, 16, 18 and the last one. But to be honest, you are all over the board and I think you need to do a bit more shopping to figure out what YOU really like.

I agree with @claireos: that being overwhelmed means you probably haven't figured out what you want enough. Look at these pics and find style elements you like, and limit the TYPES of dresses you look at at your next appointment.

As for what I like on you, I also prefer you in straps, I think the V-neck is a gorgeous neckline on you. I also prefer the A-line silhouhette on you over the mermaid styles. But, you need to decide what you like for yourself!

first of all, you have an amazing figure!  I am going to be very hoenst here. I honestly do not like the ones where your clevage is showing. You have a great figure and I think the that ones show your boobage is way too much..it takes away from your figure and the boobs are too distracting. you could show a little clevage to make your FI happy but the ones where you are showing clevage is too much. I LOVE the 20th one posted!   also 1, 2, 6 and 19 are VERY sliming!

I really love #18 on you! It's so pretty and I think it flatters you well (I like the one a couple pictures up from that too with the similar neckline style -- it seems to work well for you).

There are lots of over-40 brides on these boards.  Did you ever check out this thread?http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/dresses-for-the-mature-bride.  Please don't call us old farts!!

1--Don't drive yourself crazy yet.  Take your time deciding on a silhouette and embellishments.  Then find the dress that combines them.

2--Don't be frustrated by the multiple opinions.  That's why the 'Bee is fun. Go with the dress that makes you feel like a bride.  You just haven't found it yet.

3--Yes, a style you like may get discontinued.  Don't worry, there will be a new one you like better.

4--People pay a lot of money to get an hourglass figure like yours--don't knock yourself!  Be ready for some alterations though--you will probably have to have your dress taken in a lot at the waist and hip.

5--My opinion?  I like 3, 9, 14, and especially 18.  I agree with the PP that some of them are a little too cleavage-y, although it might be less of an issue in the correct size.  It seems like the V-neck dresses are giving you the support you need on top and highlighting your small waist.  If you do go with strapless, look for something with a soft sweetheart/scoop.  I don't like the straight-across strapless or deep sweethearts as much.  Note--many dresses can be ordered with that adjustment already made or it is an easy alteration.

Adorae Louise (4) and the second one from the bottom (18) really complement your figure and make you look very slender.  I like the ones with the straps, and those two are my favorites on you =) Very beautiful.

1and 2 are very nice and look good on you but don't show off your boobs.

3 I don't really like but I think its because it looks yellowish in the pic

4 is georgous on you, slimming and shows off your boobs

5&6 are nice but you have tried on nicer ones

7 cuts you in half and 8 doesn't really show off your figure as well as some of the others.

I do like the wide V neckline on you like in numbers 4 and 15.

I do like the last one on you a lot

If you think that #4 makes your belly look bigger than you should choose something with a "dropped waist line" which is what I'm going to use because they always flatten your tummy. Or you could wear some shape ware under it. You also still look pretty young so I think that you could wear any dress that you like.

Okay, I know you're feeling overwhelmed but, YOU LOOK GREAT IN THESE DRESSES!!! I like so many of these, but you seem the happiest in the first one and I think that's my favorite! 5 & 16 are also gorgeous! But, still number 1 is my favorite because it looks great and you look so happy!
