BohoMama:  I don’t know how casual you want your dress to be but DH and I did somewhat of an elopement since I was pregnant and wanted to be married before our big wedding. I got this cute little number from ROss for 15 bucks and it’s not a maternity dress.

I think it’ll deff fit your boho style just don’t rock a sweater like I did. The dres is strapless

Short dress with lace that makes it look like a maxi!

Congratulations!

I love that Free People dress too.

I’d also avoid traditional wedding dress outlets if possible. Although that said, I quite like this one from David’s Bridal:<br />http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Floral-Burnout-Chiffon-Gown-859695D_Bridal-Gowns-Shop-By-Size-Maternity-Gowns

At 22 weeks you may not have to make too many compromises though. I know that each pregnancy is different but I had only just stopped wearing my jeans at 22 weeks in my first pregnancy and while I was looking for greater comfort, equally, I wasn’t very noticeably pregnant at all and didn’t need to go into anything described as maternity clothes.

So sure, a mermaid fit and flare might be the wrong choice (it might be the wrong choice anyway!!) there are almost certainly going to be quite a lot of nice dresses out there that aren’t maternity but are what you’d like to wear.

BohoMama:  It’s the additional colour on it that puts me off that particular dress too!  I’m taller than you but quite slim and not at all well-endowed up top so at 22 weeks, apart from a tiny little bump (which was actually more of a “thickening” than a defined bump), the main difference I noticed was the increase in the size of my breasts. Which was the main reason for me going into slightly more comfortable clothes.  So I’d definitely consider that aspect when choosing a dress.

BohoMama:  Congrats on your upcoming wedding and new bundle of joy!. So I also vote david bridal. I had a small budget and really lucked out there. So I am not prego nor do I like the empire waist dresses but I let each of my crew pick a dress for me to try on and this was picked. and it ended up being a contender it didnt lay like an empire made me feel skinny and was so comfortable.
