Hi! I think I know what I want in a wedding dress, but I’m having trouble finding a dress that meets all the criteria. Any suggestions?
* strapless with a sweetheart neckline and scalloped lace edging
* fitted / dropped-waist to around the top of the hips. I’ve seen some “dropped waist” gowns that were fitted to mid-thigh, more like a mermaid style… that’s not what I’m looking for.
* A-line or modified A-line
* tulle, lace, or organza skirt would be nice — I’m open to other ideas for this part of the dress
Let me know if you can think of any dresses that fit this description (or something else similar that you think I might like). I can spend about $3500, or possibly a little more. Thanks!

@spelunx: ADORE the detailed specifications. Hahaha that was actually going to be my first question (so how ‘dropped’ do you mean…?). I’m off on the hunt! 😀

@spelunx: Sooo…with the scalloped lace sweetheart, I immediately thought of Lazaro/Hjelm/Keely/Valenta. If you are not opposed, you can also look for preowned styles if you want even more of a price drop.
Here’re just some of the dresses out there:
Alvina Valenta 9914
La Sposa Misouri
San Patrick Rafaga (has detachable straps)
David Tutera for Mon Cheri 112212 & 113213

@spelunx: Did you try any dresses on yet? Most women are surprised by which silhouettes look good on their bodies vs what they thought would look nice. Anyways, i thought of 2 dresses that fit your description:
Alvina Valenta (scallop neckline – you can alter to sweet heart)
alvina valenta 9162

@spelunx: It’s Enzoani and the name of this particular style is Gianna. I believe it was part of the 2012 Enzoani line.
