Yesterday was a VERY fun day.  FI and his groomsmen went for the first kilt fitting!!!  The wedding sin't for another 9 months, but the store had a 2009 sale that we just couldn't pass.  It goes without saying that I of course tagged along so that I could take pics and see the guys squirm (and then slowly get very comfy in their new diggs LOL)

My Fi probably wouldn't like it too much if I was posting pics of him online LOL, but thought I'd share some other famous kilted men.

Feel free to drool with me :)

Awww that is so fun! Neither of us have kilted ancestry, otherwise I would be all over that! So fun! (BTW, if you tried to load pictures, they didn't work)

I agree w/ KMSull. If there was any Scotish history in either family I think we would have gone with kilts. I love them! My family does the Ren. Faire all the time, last year my Mr. wore a kilt. Said it was the most comfortable he'd ever been.

Sidenote: I have it BAD for Ewan McGregor. He's one of my favorites. ;o)

That actually looks good. FI might want to wear a kilt and I was worried at first, and still not exactly a fan...but hey, I'm liking that photo!

I'm SOOOOOO jealous!  I would LOVE FI to wear a kilt (my background is Scottish), but he won't :(  My kiwi coworker who wore a kilt to his wedding even offered to lend FI his kilt, but still no deal.  I have however managed to force him to allow bagpipes at the ceremony!
