So I just bought my shoes and I went yest to try it on with my dress and it made my dress look too short 🙁 the heel was 4.5″. I’m so upset because the lady refused to measure me in the first place before ordering my dress because the sample fit me perfectly just a little snug so she decided to order my dress one size bigger. I don’t know what to do. Should I try getting like a 3″ heel and hope it looks better? or should I argue with her and have them fix it (she said it’s going to be hard to make it longer and she doesn’t know if it will work)

I’m not sure if that height is something you’re comfortable wearing anyway, but I’d definitely get a lower heel before worrying about doing alterations that may not work.

I would definitely do a lower heel or your feet will kill you! Plus, if she’s not sure the alterations will even work, it’s definitely the safer route!

Yep I have to agree that I would go for a lower heel. No one (unless your dress is too short) will see your feet anyway so don’t get it altered and just buy a smaller heel shoe.
